A key scene is where they randomly meet in an audio store. Where is a sales assistant!! Here he is. This is Yan, looking dishevelled, probably due to the very low wages and thankless job that is an audiophile store sales assistant. Lau want to listen to this amplifier. That was good, but have you tried this cable? Blown away!! Cables do make a difference!! Lau ends up buying the amp, an Audio Space MP-1B The rest of the movie is them trying to kill or outsmart each other. Its a brilliant film and worth watching. One of the few HK cinema pieces that is not cringy and stands up with western films in plot. It's pretty obvious the director of this film is a real audiophile, not just throwing some amps and speakers on set as props.
