Goatboy Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 The film 'Trumbo'. About the 1940s screenwriter Dalton Trumbo who gets blacklisted as a Communist. Stars Bryan Cranston, Helen Mirren and John Goodman. Looks to be Oscar bait but fingers crossed for a great film. 1
Dolphy Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 The Hateful Eight look interesting, Enio Morricone will be doing the score and shot in 70mm film. I'm pumped. Apparently the 70mm version will have an additional 6 mins over the digital version. 1
cafe67 Posted November 11, 2015 Author Posted November 11, 2015 Saw bridge of spies, very good Also saw the dressmaker last night Went with wifey sort of under sufference But realy enjoyed it, dont let the chick flick comedy trailer put you off At times it dives real deep and dark into psyche of small town mentality and other nastiness Its kate winslet's movie , but hugo weaving and other supporting cast do well.

Guest Sime Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Im just sitting, very silently, for the 2nd Prometheus film.
likwidsh0k Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 Im just sitting, very silently, for the 2nd Prometheus film. Most apt movie for the thread, but I fear most hope is lost.. Was Alien: Paradie Lost seriously.. which he just changed to.. Alien: Covenant does not bode well..
Guest Sime Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 (edited) As long as they explain why the Engineers wanted to destroy humans on earth and why do they want us to be spawn for aliens ( shipping all the black goo to earth) then I'd be happy. It's all I want to know in the sequel, anything after that will be a bonus. @@likwidsh0k Edited November 16, 2015 by Sime
