The A300r Precision is really fantastic amp. As many will know, these amps were available as a stock A300r and also as a 'Precision' version (available here) with mods/upgrades by British HIFI Guru Tom Evans.
I won't say much about Tom Evans here, if you're unfamiliar just look him up.
 
Most people have heard about the often quoted Pioneer A400 'Giant Killer' amp that still features on legendary amp lists. Pioneer's follow up model the A400X didn't beat the A400, but the A300r Precision took things several notches higher. I've had all three, and I've listened them VERY carefully-A300r Precision is, in my view, the best of them.
 
This amp exhibits clarity, 'precision' if you will, beautiful soundstage, great timing and tone with the bass, really nice treble and manages all that while being very cohesive and 'musical'. It’s a really enjoyable listen. Only selling as I need to raise funds.
It presents really well, all pics taken this week. Some minor blemishes commensurate with age. This amp has not skipped a beat-It's been a dream. They don't come up in Australia very often so I welcome one of you to enjoy it.
NB: I don't have the volume remote- I believe you can buy generic ones online if needed.

These are a fantastic sounding streamer and unbeatable value. In my very humble opinion, hard to beat unless spending above $2k.

Caveats: the display characters are unevenly lit. It’s legible but a known issue with these units. I used the far superior LDS app on my phone so it was never an issue.
The LDS controller app is no longer available from the Apple App Store.
Instead, owners are using the Connect apps from Tidal, Qobuz, Spotify, etc to control their units.
Alternatively, owners are using their favourite UPnP controllers.
Buyers who pick up will be given a copy of the LDS app to their phone or iPad via iMazing.
The infrared remote also works perfectly and is included.

If these caveats are not an issue, this unit is a bargain at the asking price.

This preamp has been reviewed (by HL), who gave it a glowing report. FWIW, I agree with HL in two aspects: (1) I've used this here at home and it's a cracking wee device. If I didn't already have my all-in-one system I would grab it for myself. And (2) the remote has to be pointed exactly at the preamp in order to work. You can't just wander it about in the general direction like I do with my old Naim.
It offers just two inputs - XLR and RCA, but this can be expanded if more sources are required by the addition of a custom module (not super expensive) which is connected by an umbilical. Note:- an extension module is not included in this sale.
