  1. Further information: I bought this here about a month ago and I've been using this as a Roon bridge into an external DAC via wifi. It is easy to set up if you have a bit of tech savvy. It was a noticeable step up in sound quality over both my old Pi3 with a HifiBerry DAC hat and Bluesound Node 2. I'm selling as my tinkering with software and hardware days are over and have settled on an iFi Zen Stream. Not a lot of difference in SQ between the two. The iFi maybe has the edge but it's subtle i.e. probably conformation bias. I used it with Diet PI with the Allo OS and it integrated seamlessly into my Roon setup. You can also use Volumio but the makers of Volumio don't do updates for the USBridge and, unless used as a Roon endpoint, Volumio doesn’t have integrated Tidal or Qobuz support. Unlike a Raspberry Pi streamer the USBridge doesn't have inbuilt wifi but I've used a wifi adapter (included) and it works fine. If you are connect it using an ethernet cable you don't need to bother with the adapter. Allo do recommend the cabled route. I'll include the latest builds of Volumio, DietPi and all the useful manuals I've gathered in a directory on the sd card so you can set things up as you like. Includes USBridge in perspex case iFi low noise power adaptor 16gb sd card with Volumio, DietPi images and relevant documentation Wifi adapter EMMC card with DietPi and Allo OS and EMMC card reader A cable that does something that came in the same bag as the EMMC card Darko review: https://darko.audio/2018/02/step-up-from-a-raspberry-pi-with-allo-digitals-usbridge Photos: PLEASE READ If you include any reference to pricing whatsoever in this section (excluding RRP), your ad will not be approved If you are advertising multiple items, you must post one bulk price only, or post seperate ads for each item If you don't include photographs of the actual item being sold, your ad will not be approved You understand that upon successful sale of your item it is expected you pay Seller's Fees. - if you have previously sold items and not made a contribution, your advertisement may not be approved.
  2. Item: Gieseler Kompakt Price Range: Negotiable - depending on model and age Item Condition: New or Used Extra Info: No longer required
  3. Damn - literally just bought the same from Minidisc a few days ago. Agree that for the price it is excellent. Also worth bearing in mind is that iFi are not including the low noise power supply any more. Anyway, excellent streamer at a killer price.
  4. I bought a set of these a year ago and have had absolutely no urge to change them. It's unreal how good they sound given their size. These are speakers to really enjoy music with and, at this price, a great buy.
  5. Used to have one of these . Great amp for the price.
  6. Further information: Great opportunity to dip your toes into Raspberry Pi streaming. Included are a Raspberry Pi 3, a IQ Audio DAC + and charger. It comes with Volumio pre-loaded on the included microsd. Obviously you can flash the card with whatever flavour of pi you want. The dust you can see on the case in the pictures won't be included in the sale. I have been using it as a Roon endpoint into a second system. The DAC on the DAC + isn’t too shoddy. I briefly A-B’ed it against my external DAC on my main system and while there was a clear difference, it wasn’t a hell of a lot which, given it costs 20 times less, was impressive. Shipping will be $15 Aus wide. 8. I know - I'll hate myself once it's gone. Saying that, once my son moves out I can revisit the listening space and by then Clay will have come up some more magic and my wallet will be waiting. I am fond of my son, but priorities.
  9. Further information: A Gieseler Kompakt for sale . This is the latest version with the Wolfson chipset. No real sound difference between this and the AKM version according to Clay as the outputs etc. are the same. A lovely DAC. This is a very regretful sale which I'll no doubt kick myself for however I'm downsizing to a more head-fi setup due to a very selfish decision by the rest of the household to repurpose my listening room as shared work space. It's about 5 months old so still has just over 18 months left on the warranty. Express postage shipping is included in the price Price is firm so please, no low-ball offers as I won't reply. 10. Item: iFi Zen Blue or Audioengine B1 bluetooth receiver Price Range: $125 ish : negotiable - depends on unit and condition Item Condition: New or Used Extra Info: Currently got very sh*tty wifi so looking for a good quality BT receiver to feed into my DAC until the issue is sorted Please don't forget to report your post as FOUND when possible. 11. Further information: A brand new pair of AF160s from the now sadly demised Audiofly. These were given to me and are brand new and unopened. I have a pair of AF180s which I love. I bought the AF180s to replace a set of Shure SE535s and they were, to me, a better set of iems. I've not heard the AF160s, although I was curious and tempted to open them and compare, but, if they are even 80% of the AF180s they will be stellar. I found the AF180s really opened up after 10 or so hours of listening. I would expect the same from the AF160s. 12. Item: MQA capable DAC Price Range: depends on brand, model and condition Item Condition: New or Used Extra Info: Looking to check out MQA on my Tidal subscription so looking for a decent MQA capable DAC. Currently running an Gieseler Kompakt so am not expecting great things, or even like for like, and will probably sell it on after scratching this particular listening itch. It'll be interesting to hear MQA vs Hi-Res through the same DAC. Please don't forget to report your post as FOUND when possible. (You can delete this text before pressing Submit).
