Neil Young, Tonight's the night.. i love this record not sure if it is my favourite Neil Young but possibly Cant agree about the sound though In the 70's he could not have made a bad sounding record if he tried one of the the things that make a lot of 60's and 70's records sound so good regardless of format is the time and space thing that the players were in the sound of them cannot be replicated Neil Young: Tonight's the Night Album Review | Pitchfork this is a great article about the making of the record and the events in Young's life at that time think i'll roll another number for the road I'll feel able to get under any load still brings me a thrill so to speak and the surrounding memories of those days and of course on the next song he sings about a need for ham and eggs Neil Youngs a God

Monk
Bit of Bandcamp streaming today. Run The Jewels and Swans. With the few listens I've had to The Glowing Man I've not quite liked it as much as To Be Kind or The Seer because I thought it lacked the edge and harshness that made me like those two albums, but today it hit the spot nicely.
metal beat
Starting to love all this Spunk! local band The Ocean Party - new album Light Weight on Spunk records. think jangly guitar with a some background synth/keyboards that adds a really nice depth to the sound. Tis good

metal beat
Pink Floyd - Ummagumma - 2LP 2016 Euro reissue. never had this album before - the studio is plain weird for most of it, in a very good way. SQ is very good as is pressing. Edited November 8, 2016 by Metamatic

I would guarantee it. I have 80's Aussie pressings of Piper at the Gates and Obscured By Clouds - the new 2016 Euro pressings wipe their butts. OBC sounds like a new album in fact.
