Ha Dave Sterry was at my wedding!  Hows that for a wedding singer moment  Had some really good poppy material that went largely unnoticed here (although they got pretty big in GermanyI Dave told me)

My wife designed there last album cover for Imperfection.

That is awesome ?

Do you keep in touch ?

Not so much these days but as he's good mates with Johnny (owner of the FAD gallery/bar in Melbourne) you can often run into him there. Really funny bloke too who loves to take the piss of himself. Wonder if he's still driving around in that POS while VW beetle haha.

Continuing on with Leo Kottke

However this is sort of a collaboration album with a twist

3 Artists performing 4 original songs a piece

All very similar styles

Artist - Leo Kottke, John Fahey & Peter Lang

Title - Self Titled

And following on the coattail of the last album

This album can be romantic at times and then changes tack to other moods from happy to a medley of tracks

Some tracks are original and some are covers

Artist - Leo Kottke

Title - Dreams and All That

Anyone tried these?

Half Speed Mastered Brian Eno albums. Remastered at Abbey Road, 45rpm

https://consequenceofsound.net/2017/06/early-brian-eno-solo-albums-receive-45rpm-vinyl-remasters/

saw them down at The Searchers 93 Smith St Fitzroy

regards Ian

I don't have any 45 RPM records, apart from singles

Would be interested in giving any title a test and try

Dylan.jpg.a879da990012009e5f9365cb8f5bbbf8.jpgJust bought this from JB HiFi for $28.

Bit bright to start, but focus and presence is very good. I love Dylan and this is going down well. Gatefold dubbel album, 180 gram. Another lucky buy.

Back at it again after a short break

Needed to play some easy listening / soul genre music and this album is a gem ?

Winwood played all the instruments on this album

Great release with all tracks being polished and entertaining

Artist - Steve Winwood

Title - Arc Of A Diver
