Monty
I've always had a soft spot for this Dylan album. Sounds okay on vinyl, but would love a reissue that could clean up the murky-ness of the pressing. My first non jazz listen to anything, in a fortnight. http://www.discogs.com/Bob-Dylan-Street-Legal/release/2644981 I don't know this one. My parents had it, but I don't remember it getting much play and someone else must have bagsed it because I don't have it. Looking at the track list I only recognise 'Senor' from Biograph, and 'New Pony' via the Dead Weather cover version. Will have to check it out.

Jesco
Nadine Shah - Love Your Dum and Mad Just picked it up this afternoon and giving it a spin for the first time. It's not a dead silent pressing - there's a slight surface noise in the gaps, which will hopefully clean up with a pass through the RCM. No ticks and pops per se - just a light background noise. However, it does sound fantastic as soon as the music kicks in and the music is brilliant as well. Definitely an artist to keep an eye out for. Spinning for the first time now... it's certainly interesting, in a good way. As you say, one to keep an eye on.

Candyflip
Lauren Hill - The Miseducation of... US pressing double original. Once a month...need the fix. Still awesome...love Side 4 and it's 'hidden' final two tracks, especially. Would have loved more output from her over the last 20 years, but that was never meant to be.

Possibly because she has constantly said she doesn't want white people to listen to her music.....

ABG
Mark Lanegan - I'll Take Care Of You.From the One Way Street box set. Every pressing has been the bomb. Production and pressing quality is very, very good. I've got a few records that sound even better, but I probably paid almost as much for a single record as I paid for this box set. At the price, this is a screaming bargain. And I haven't even talked about the music yet. If you haven't heard Mark Lanegan, jump onto your nearest streaming device immediately and be enjoy a simply brilliant artist. If you are thinking about buying the box set and haven't done it yet, stop prevaricating. Buy it! You won't regret it. One of my favourite purchases ever. @@catman please add this to your list of non audiophile pressings that sound awesome.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Edited February 3, 2016 by ABG
