@sammynb yep. In certain parts it has a bit of Mutiny Sessions and Junkyard vibe

Bugger I'm going to have to have a listen to it now. 😉

With the exception of the first Grinderman release IMHO Nick's last great album was Tender Prey and the Birthday Party is better than any of his post BD releases.

both on 180gr vinyl.
Mr Godin I found while streaming Tidal and it’s the only album of his I like.
Ms Bush and I were introduced many years ago by my father.

And?

don’t leave us hanging.

It’s utter rubbish mate. 😂

It’s very good, only had a brief listen so more tweaking is needed but so far I’m very happy. It’s a keeper. 👍

Sold my last vintage item my Yamaha tuner so I got something more modern with Dab+ support. Nice and smooth purchase from Frank Prowse HiFi

The thought had cross my mind about selling my FM tuner a couple of times but every time I flick to it, even for casual listening and certainly for 4MBS and Classic FM here in Brisbane, I'm glad I've kept it.

Off to the city to pick up an album that’s been on order for a few weeks.
ended up with two J Mitchell albums, one J Lennon and Geoff Tyson (ordered) Drinks with Infinity.
And some CDs.
it’s like going grocery shopping whilst hungry.

I've just purchased an old copy of TFS by Trevor Pinnock on Archiv. It's on its way. It was my introduction to the piece back in the early 90's and remains my favourite to this day. Would like to know your comments on the quality of this copy when you've had a chance to listen to it. Being Decca, I would expect it to be very good.

Elgar: 'Enigma' Variations & 'Pomp & Circumstance' Marches Nos. 1, 2 & 4

Concertgebouw Orchestra, Amsterdam (Neville Mariner)

Purchased at the local Tip buy back for $1... Couple of runs thru the US cleaner & it came up pretty darn good...

Engaging pieces...
