This cable was custom made with Australian power plug and purchased a few years ago through Howard Popeck, an LFD Audio distributor in the UK.

LFD Audio is a boutique UK audio manufacturer formed in 1987. Dr Richard Bews, the founder of the company,  is a direct PhD student of Professor Hawksford who formed an audio group which carried research into audio design which MSC's and PhD's were awarded. This was run at University of Essex. LFD was started in 87' by Dr Bews and Professor Hawksford . Dr Bews has much admiration for Be Yamamura who Richard sees as a mentor. From this Richard acquired a passion for creative High End audio, utilising unusual and obsolete parts. The first product was the truly legendary Battery disc stage which is unique and innovative and ultra simple which demanded only the very best parts and wiring including bakelite pure silver leaved capacitors and shinko tantalum film resistors. It was a test bench to evaluate parts wiring and layout. This is a completely floating battery powered design .

With respect to cables; Richard's view is most equipment is limited by the external and internal cables and to improve LFD amplifiers, heavy amounts of research has gone into cables, basically for the R&D of the Multi diameter cables, more than 2 Million US Dollars was invested to produce various diameters and profiles of conductors using a continuous cast processes.
 
There is very little information about LFD Audio. They don't even have a working website. Most of their sales are through word of mouth. Information can be found on Audio Forums such as What's Best Forum.

One more Integrated amp for sale.  It isn't really for me, too polite, not adventurous enough in its presentation.  Great for audiophile quality music but not good for anything heavier than medium paced rock (no impact, no slam) and if I can't listen to my 80's and 90's rock music on it then I just can't justify keeping it.  If your preference is girl-and-guitar music, folk, opera or jazz then this just may be the amp for you but if you can't live without a bit of good, hard rock in your listening room then I'm afraid you really should move on to another add.
 
The F=05 is a 120wpc into 8 and 240wpc into 4 Ohms with 4 being the minimum recommended load.  This unit has the optional DAC module fitted, and that module is really very good, but the amplifier side is just too cultured for my tastes.

Everything about this amp seemed to be great. Great design as each section is separated within the cassis. PCM to PWM signal processing means it can take a digital signal, convert it and then send it straight to the power stage so there is no need for a DAC chip. GAN Fets used in the power supply so it can switch at a higher rate. And Load Adaptive Phase Calibration so the output stage is less affected by speaker effects.
You would think all of this high tech stuff would add up to a really good amp. But it just doesn't sound anything special to me. It has lots of detail, plenty of resolution, a very clean output but it errs on the side of accuracy over musicality. I am choosing to sell it rather than continue to try to tame it. If detail and resolution is your thing then maybe the Technics is for you.

There are many reviews on the net and I read most of them. They all say good things, sometimes great things so it would seem my experience is different to all of them. I will include links below for those who are interested.

For those who are not up for that much reading it is a 70wpc into 8 ohms and 140 into 4 (but rated at 0.5% THD (which is ridiculous, any decent amp should be listed at 0.05% or better). And it has multiple digital and analogue inputs. Also a phono stage.

Comes with box and remote and power cord. I could not find the physical receipt but can offer to send the email version to interested parties if they feel the need to see it.

And so, out it goes. At less than half the price I paid for it 10 months ago. No more discounts, I've already built those into the asking price. It is listed cheaper than anything I could find on HiFiShark.
