Finally get to spin this classic new album.

Have 10 albums to spin tonight.

Don't have as much spare time now with my new job.

Away from home often, and miss spinnin records.

I also don't get on here as often, so a big metal greeting to you all !!!

Hail vinyl and Metal \m/

There is no credit for the vinyl mastering listed anywhere, which is curious because the songs sound noticeably better than the original versions. Haven't compared the cd of this yet.

Interesting that you say that as I thought the opposite, not terrible but certainly no improvement compared to their previous comp. for me (Coroner, Noise N 0212-2)

So I felt like something slightly heavier this afternoon, so started with Pelican, and as much as I love Drought, the album wasn't quite doing it for me.  So switched to Xu Feng by John Zorn because from memory it was a bit heavy, okay, maybe not.  Next (need to play again though, because it's been ages since I've listened to the game pieces Zorn albums).

Meshuggah Ozben.

Hell.  Yeah.

My apologies to my neighbours because as my ears were almost bleeding they may not have appreciated it that much.

Bloody Hammers - Lovely Sort of Death.   these guys must have been listening a lot to ex Bauhaus Pete Murphy's two solo albums 9th and Lion.  Good Goth stuff

I don't listen to Spotify much, but am currently enjoying the new Kreator album Gods of Violence. Charted 16 through the world and number 1 in Germany apparently.

Its weird Kreator, Sodom & Destruction were pretty much in my top 5 bands throughout the 80's however for some reason I have lost touch with all 3 not having listened to any of their output since perhaps the mid 90's (even though I keep playing there older stuff) perhaps in part that I want them to remain immortal and not have to endure deteriorating albums that are potentially crap bit like the shock of Celtic Frosts "Cold Lake" album

Might dip my toe in and have a looksee....

I really like the melodies of the new Kreator album. Enemy Of God is another good album from them from a few years back.
