To our community,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for being a member here, choosing to log on and participate as often as your time allows or you desire, and making this place what it is.

As we celebrate our 21st year, I am proud of what has been achieved in 2025. It's fair to say StereoNET has gone big and then some.

Over the past year, we published more than 600 news stories, over 100 product reviews, and 20-plus in-depth features, reaching 17.5 million engaged readers worldwide and generating over 155 million page views.

That impact extends well beyond the website. Our forums now host more than 600,000 topics and 6.4 million posts, along with offering one of the busiest dedicated hi-fi Classifieds in the world. Our social channels have delivered over 5.7 million organic views, and we provided on-the-ground coverage from a record 13 international shows.

Looking ahead, three major StereoNET shows are now open for 2026, including an almost sold-out Australian Hi-Fi & AV Show (Melbourne), alongside the UK Hi-Fi & AV Show (London) and Asia Hi-Fi & AV Expo (Singapore).

We’re here for the long haul, and will continue to focus and invest in something important to me - Original Editorial produced by Expert Reviewers - something that is becoming harder to find in the digital influencer age.

I take my hat off to our two volunteers, @sir sanders zingmore and @Kazz who give up their time to keep things in check, approve ads, solve queries, and most certainly step up when I am drawn away from this place with work or family committments. And also a big thanks to @Adriano Faria our coder, who is responsible for taking my ideas and turning them into functional features - and does a brilliant job at that too.

Xmas_Greetings.jpg

So on behalf of myself, @Jason Sexton (ANZ Deputy Editor), @Jay Garrett (UK Editor), @Eugene (Asia Editor), @David Price (Global Editor-in-Chief), Justin Bird (Commercial Manager), the Volunteer Moderators, and our team of more than twenty freelance contributors scattered around the globe, thank you for your continued support.

Thank you for choosing to visit StereoNET and sharing your stories or offering your advice. Our global community is something to be proud of, and we thank you for being part of that.

You can reflect on YOUR StereoNET 2025 by checking out your own Stats right here. Don't forget to hit the Share button below your stats to compare to other members.

Here’s to good health, peace, and success for all in 2026!

A big thanks to Marc, the volunteers and all those in the behind the scenes team who were mentioned and also to those in the team who not specifically mentioned; and to all members who post and contribute. SNA is a special place and community that's not to be taken for granted. Also not forgetting a great hifi show this year.

Best wishes to all and all who you care about for the festive break and new year. Enjoy the music and keep safe.

'Tis an amazing business you have built Marc. It has certainly had a massive influence on my Audio journey.

To the 99.9% of great people who frequent this site, I thank you for your advice, help, humor and great sale items. 👍 To the other .1%.........pfttt!

Enjoy your festivities, be nice to those you come into contact with, and play safely.

Happy listening and above all, happy TV viewing. 😋

Many thanks for your comments. We do try to run a tight ship, yet one that is friendly and not too serious. It's a fine balance but after 20+ years I feel like we understand it. Merry Christmas!

Having been around here for a while, I wanted to say that the transformation of the Stereonet website has been nothing short of remarkable.

It goes without saying ( but I shall anyway) that I am well aware of just how much work behind the screen, is needed to not only continually improve the member experience but also maintaining that standard as well.

I truly appreciate the blood ,sweat and tears of the admin and review team and IMNSH experience this is the premier online forum, not just for audio, but any type of forum.

The other ( and possibly major reason why I love being here ),is the deep and genuine sense of community, where people are interested in one another and their adventures, as well as helping out new members with such great advice and patience, who, without that element may be lost to our hobby.

So, from me, I just want to say and heartfelt thank you so much and I wish everybody here a wonderful, happy and peaceful Christmas and another amazing year ahead in '26.

Thanks Marc, I just noticed my 10yrs here. It's been enjoyable being part of this group, I recall being pleased when I found the site serving the Australian audio community so well.

If this were a pub, you'd have your very own stool at the bar mate. Thanks for your ongoing membership and contributions.

Thanks Marc and all those that make this forum such a nice place to visit and be part of.

May 2026 bring you and each and every member many good things.

Rock on !!

Nicely put, Lindsay.

Yes, I'm back after an absence of almost 13 years from all things Hi Fi related.

I love the way SNA has developed and grown in my absence.

I also enjoy seeing posts from some of the old-timers.

Warm regards all around

Russ.

Nice to see you still around the place, Grumps !!

@cableconnoisseur

Thanks Russ and welcome back.😄

It's really good to have you around again. Many changes indeed!

Merry Christmas to all SNA members ! 🎄 Sending big festive vibes all the way from down under to our international members.

Hope you’re having an absolute ripper of a day—sunny barbie on the beach, prawns on the grill, and zero chance of a white Christmas (unless it’s the sandy kind). What’s the highlight of your Chrissy so far? 🇦🇺❤️

Merry Christmas to all from the Gold Coast on this bright sunny Christmas Morning.

May your bells ring today and through 2026.

Hope everyone gets a chance to spin some tunes today.

Merry Christmas to all my fellow whacko’s 😜🎄

Thanks Marc for a fabulous nonjudgmental community where we all can feel safe, whether it be new or veteran whacko. 🎄🎸

Merry Christmas to all at SNA.

Was I the only one in Victoria to put the heater on this morning? WTH happened to the normal sweltering Christmas Day lunch?

Merry Festivus and Xmas to you all !

May you feast, indulge and enjoy, at this special time of the year. 🙂
