Hey Yamaha Man, I was just looking on Audiogon, as one does when you have little else to do after lunch on Xmas day, and saw 2 pairs of TAD R1s for sale, one pair being yours.

 

The interesting thing was that the second pair were bought second hand from OZ, so that got me thinking that the second pair could be your old pair. That would be a hell of a coincidence!!!

Thoroughly enjoyed my time today at Sydney Hifi, their demo rooms always leave me smiling to myself. The kharma room is highly recommended if you’re shopping in that price range. I listened to the Sasha DAW some time ago and I must say for the price I prefer the kharma. 
The home theatre is something else. 👌🏻

  Gotta try diffusers on the roof sometime,  but my roof is low.

Me as well. Corner bass traps work very well. 

Also still have my Falcon.

Thats got to be a small club - Falcon owner with corner bass traps 🤣

Another one is nearly ready to go.

The generosity of @frankn, @AudioGeek and @frednork, to discuss and answer questions some time ago was appreciated (and is acknowledged).

10 years ago today I met the boss man and we had green beer for St.Patrick’s day. The only part of that system I still have is the Finite Elemente racks. 
TAD R1 mk2, Krell KAS , FPB-600 and KRC-HR, VPI-HRX, Manley stingray, Bel Canto DAC3 and Transparent cables all upgraded.
