dcathro Posted December 25, 2023 Posted December 25, 2023 Hey Yamaha Man, I was just looking on Audiogon, as one does when you have little else to do after lunch on Xmas day, and saw 2 pairs of TAD R1s for sale, one pair being yours. The interesting thing was that the second pair were bought second hand from OZ, so that got me thinking that the second pair could be your old pair. That would be a hell of a coincidence!!! Merry Christmas by the way. 1 1

The kharma room is highly recommended if you’re shopping in that price range. I listened to the Sasha DAW some time ago and I must say for the price I prefer the kharma. The home theatre is something else. 2

Yamaha_man Posted March 17, 2024 Posted March 17, 2024 (edited) 10 years ago today I met the boss man and we had green beer for St.Patrick’s day. The only part of that system I still have is the Finite Elemente racks. TAD R1 mk2, Krell KAS , FPB-600 and KRC-HR, VPI-HRX, Manley stingray, Bel Canto DAC3 and Transparent cables all upgraded. I will have to get new reading glasses. My first thought on seeing the photo was "Where did Joe meet Ed Sheeran? How did he get him to his home for a St Patrick's day beer?" 3

Play it loud and listen to the trumpet come in on the left, then the sax on the right then the unbelievable drum solo. I find myself clapping at the end each time I listen to this. Cheers I can't find this album on Qobuzzz.....waaahhh
