Only 6 hrs left on this one and $400 odd with 5 bidders.

Don't have personal experience with ProAc, however they look the part for those into vintage british gear and some money to spare (+ able to pick up NSW).

Someone needs to grab these Dragons for $800 before I do a road trip & upset the cook.

Synodontis, did you cave in and buy these after the price went down to $700? I was sorely tempted there, but a 3.5 hr trip there was a bit daunting.

Like yourself I was very tempted to trundle up for a quick overnighter but the thought if a 14hr round trip changed my thinking...... & the cook seen me contemplating the idea. According to her I need to get rid of the speakers & valve amp sitting in the lounge not being used frist lol.

https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Vintage-Hi-fi-tube-valve-amplifier-6V6-Audioromy/293048266018?hash=item443b09ad22:g:Y8IAAOSwW3xcratl

<Valve amplifier with black glass 6V6 push pull outputs by Audioromy. ~7Watts RMS/channel
This was an amplifier produced for only a short period, for use with highly efficient speakers or/and headphones.

It used an original vintage 6V6 PP circuit , for a smooth, detailed sound.
Circuit input has been modified to eliminate switches/capacitors etc in the signal path , to be  power amp only -with one pair of inputs (not switched) and chassis now has cedar wooden base.Headphone input removed.
The black metal cover provides a nice vintage post-industrial vibe/appearance.>
