Vinyl - Currently Spinning

Recommended Posts

Lynyrd Skynyrd - Second Helping, bought it yesterday from a new record shop that just opened in Port Macquarie, apparently all second hand vinyl is cleaned first, most of the used covers were in great condition, it’s good to see a store that cares about quality.

Ry Cooder Borderline

I will follow you with some Ry Cooder with an eccentric album

A couple of songs on this album have a similar style to a later release album - Bop Till You Drop

Artist - Ry Cooder

Title - Chicken Skin Music

Full Range Would've loved to see them live.

Now listening to Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings- I Learned the Hard Way (count myself lucky I did see them live at The Astor, Mt Lawley)  What a night!

Sadly Sharon Jones passed away in 2016

My God, i had no idea she was gone
They were brilliant at Bluesfest about 6 years ago
She was a like a female Mick Jagger, just a whole lot better
Her guitarist is **** hit too, and isnt he the patron saint of chip amps?

I was about 16, it was about 1966
This was available at the local record store and a budget release
Every track is fantastic
Hearing Clapton do crossroads before Cream and Al Kooper before Highway 61 ( I think) IMG_0343.jpgIMG_0344.jpgIMG_0345.jpg
