Vinyl - Currently Spinning

Recommended Posts

I purchased extra storage space in the form of a record cabinet from fellow member @dirktoggler. That I plan to repaint and use for my most played records

And some jazz records

So I will start to spin the first of three now

Starting with a double album from 1972 by a well respected jazz drummer that has played with and for the best

Some say he was probably the greatest rhythmic drummer

Artist - Elvin Jones

Title - Live At The Lighthouse

A US Blue Note pressing

Eclectic morning this morning.  Started listening in bedroom (Phantom), moved to study  (KEF LS50s) now to some vinyl and floorstanders. Reckon I saw someone post listening to this album recently. I acquired it from a fellow SNA member.

Picked up so much goodness this weekend but don’t have my turntable [emoji22] Can’t wait to get it back from a full service and give the beauties a spin.

I had this album but sold it to a good friend who’s a big Gabriel fan. The version of shock the monkey is so good.

My pressing is the 1983 Australian release on the Charisma label  812445-1
