  • Just get all Crystal Cable Absolute Dream PCs, ICs and SCs and be done for life!   Absolutely amazing looking system! Congrats are in order.

Great stuff. Hows the Accuphase phono?

Wow!. Very nice.

I like this

What's the piece of plastic in front of the SME for TFP?.

I assume it's some type of guard, but I can't figure out for what!.

My guess magnifying glass lol nice system

I fired it up for the first time today. Beautifully finished, and like all Accuphase gear, a dream to use. Easy to switch between 3 arms, easy to change load.

It's my "don't destroy the Lyra Atlas" device. Never know what you might catch on the stylus.

Looks very nice Prince.

I look forward to hearing how the acoustic treatment works.  It looks the part.  I might buy it when you next upgrade...  :)

So cynical, but so true

Very nice setup . :thumb:

Please start a thread on the phono when its clocked up some hours

Great system. Thanks for sharing it with us  :thumb:

Nice. Very very nice. But then I am biased.

From the pictures looks like

C-2420 pre

C-37 phono

DC-37 DAC

P-6100.

Magico S5

SME 20-12.?

What are you using as a digital feed to the DAC?

All up spectacular. Really curious to get your feedback an any and all of these. If you were in the same state I would love to have compared the internal AD-2820 phono stage to the C-37 - did you ever compare? I assume the dell monitor is because the power amp is out of view? How much power does those pretty meters say the Magico's need? Are they hungry? So many questions. More photos please.

Also I thought you were looking to move up the power amp food chain with the A200's. I was trying to work out how to get the cash for the 6100 a while ago and assumed it must have moved on. I also wanted to borrow a DC-37 from the local dealer but I haven't done it because I doubt I would be able to take it back. Accuphase has the most amazing pride of ownership thing - the thunking switches and the build just make it a pleasure to use - plus amazing sound.

Spot on, with the models.

You missed the DG58, though. Velodyne DD18 plus, coming soon. Maxxed Woo WES and Stax SR009 bringing up the rear

I never compared the 2 phono stages.

Dell monitor is for my JRiver. MacMini playing AIFF and DSD files.

Quite hungry, but ample for my needs.

I was going to pull the trigger on the A200, but I felt that the heat would be too much. No point working hard to get a low noise floor in the room, only to put the AC on!

I love my Accuphase!

Hey Al,

I'm flattered.

These pics were the teaser.

The room should be fantastic, but I haven't had all the treatments fitted yet. I'll post more pics once things are complete.

And the speakers?

Very nice; who made the racks?

Thanks.

Hi Fi Racks Limited UK.

I fashioned the TT table from an IKEA Kitchen trolley (heavily modified!)

Very nice, cant wait for more pictures.

love the champagne remotes!

don't know about the ice hockey panel; maybe fussy when cueing with your arm cocked from above?

I can still cue as normal. The plastic is quite far over to left, and low down.

It also keeps my dust cloth/ cover off the headshell and away from the cartridge.

cool. looks like you've now settled with something really nice.

enjoy.  :thumb:

I'm taking orders on the "ice hockey panel". I prefer to call it the "resonance-control transparent cartridge preserver" by Belair Audio Science.

I can get Carlton to make one up. Uncle Phil is on quality control duty.

To me it looks more an impediment than a help :P

What are you protecting the Atlas from?     Surely not yourself :D
