  1. Further information: I have owned this fine Japanese-made pen since new (see receipt) and it writes smoother than all other fountain pens I have owned, including Mont Blanc. Weighted nicely in the hand, it is a pleasure to write with. Pics show that box, instructions, converter and extra cartidges are included. Express post shipping also included. Retail price for this model is $595 Photos:
  2. Just an update. These are now relisted but the price remains the same. They are great value at this price. Gordon's partner, Steven knows how good these sound and the amount of work and parts that went into the restoration. He naturally thinks that they are worth more. We have had interstate interest but it would need to be a pack n send job and we would need to hire a vehicle to get it there. I suspect that the overall cost would be prohibitive. .
  3. Further information: These speakers were one of Gordon's (Ozcall) most recent projects before he died. From his thread on the restoration: "As you can see from the pictures they are a very unusal box speaker being only a few inches deep but rather wide. I have completely rebuilt all the crossovers with Mundorf axial e-caps and Jantzen resistors and the internal cabling is Jantzen solid core which I have found to work very well with older speakers. The tweeters were tested for continuity and both work just fine so I ordered u[ the complete refoam kit for all the cone drivers. I finished electical and mechanical restoration the other day and now have a good few hours worth of listening time with them. I like what I am hearing , warmish ,coherent and with great bass , they image surprisingly well given the wide cabinets." "Popped the speakers in to the main system and am quite astonished by the results. These will no longer be going up for sale but there maybe a pair of Gale 401a's and a pair of AR91's being listed in the not to distant future." Gordon's partner, Steven, can also attest to just how good these speakers sounded in the main system. Black grill cloths included. Speaker specs: now added as a pic. Photos:
  4. @knight2001dts I can confirm that the remote is included but cannot answer your question as I did not operate the devise and do not have the equipment to test it. As you wil see, it is from the deceased estate of a long term member here.

  8. John, I have now added the specs as a pic above. They are rated 4 ohms. I hope that helps.
  9. I would actually defer to others who may know these speakers better. As Sean said, Gordon powered them with SS. Apart from that I know nothing.
