Well I have the keys to the new house and the new room has come up a treat!

@@Chickenism came up over the weekend to Suss it out.

Couldn't wait for the carpet to be installed so we set my system up.

I think there is opportunity for improvement.

Upon closer inspection I think the speaker positioning is out by a few degrees, and a slightly better angle would yield a much richer sound stage.

I don't want to be picky but I couldn't help notice the absence of a power conditioner. The iPod amplifier is quite finicky and would benefit from clean and consistent power.

Those speakers are way to close to that rear wall...

i think you could improve the sound with one of these power cables

 

There is NO WAY I am going to show my wife your system pics.....'cause she WILL say I must buy the same,

the statement from her will be..... "If it's good enough to be on there , then that is what YOU should get "

Looking good but I think that you need more room treatments or at least a rug.
