BuzzzFuzzz
Evening Lads. A couple (five) Op Shop treasures picked up today for $1 a pop... Hilltop Hoods 'State of the Art' 2009 GoldenEra Records. Made in Aust. Have been wanting a taste of these guys for some time. Almost new, still in cardboard outer sleeve. Great sound and tasty lyrics, nice. Happy Mondays 'Pills 'n' Thrills and Bellyaches' 1990 London Records. Factory Communications. Made in Germany. Quite surprised that I was familiar with many of these tracks, probably from listening to JJJ. Up next, and a little heavier... Deftones 'Adrenaline' 1995 Maverick Recording Co. U.S.A. Warner Records. Made in Germany. Not heard this one before, but love me some Deftones.

Probably not the album I'd recommend to kick off your Johnny Dowd collection, it's a bit loose and diffuse. The Pawnbrokers Wife or A Drunkards Masterpiece will get you off to a good start though. Johnny's voice might not be to the liking of some but it suits the stuff he writes about.
