awayward
Devin Townsend Project - Ghost from the ERAS box set, great pressing, dead quiet and dynamic, same goes for the other 3 albums in the set.
Monk
Aaron Turner and Daniel Menche first up this morning with Nox for a laid back ambient sound to ease into the weekend with. https://sigerecords.bandcamp.com/album/nox Then Tool this afternoon. Saw a jazzy cover of The Pot, which made me want to hear the original. So 10000 Days it is. Actually, the cover wasn't too bad either for a different style kind of thing.
Monk
Followed up with Dead Can Dance. Was chasing that sound. Currently playing Hungry Ghosts with Alone Alone. https://hungry-ghosts.bandcamp.com/album/alone-alone So for most part, it's been a pretty non-heavy, but still engaging day. Wonder what Sunday will bring? (Beer hopefully, but shhhh)
hired goon
Adam Fielding - The Broken Divide -- ephemeral chillout chewns with some vocals, kinda reminds me of "Steven Wilson goes electronic" in places (particularly on the track Time To Go). Noice. "Name Yer Price" lossless download from Bandcamp. --Geoff Edited July 14, 2018 by hired goon

Nice one man. Good to see quality music on quality pressings. Can't wait for my funds to recover, so much to catch up on, thanks to everyone here. A beautiful side of Devin, a talented boy and a great voice. Enjoy your listening buddy. Cheers, Ant.
BuzzzFuzzz
Evening Fella's. A beautiful day in the garden, a bit nippy tonight. Back to washing and spinning some Records... Thin Lizzy 'Renegade' 1981 Vertigo, Nippon Phonogram, Japan. Love this record and it's a great copy picked up at a Record fair about 12 months ago. Give me 'Leave this Town' over 'The Boys Are Back....' anytime. The Michael Schenker Group - Self Titled 1980 Chrysalis Records, Festival Aust. Promo Copy. Another beautiful copy, the buzzsaw sound of his guitar is one of my favourites, like Randy Rhoades on 'Blizzard of Oz'. Spooky, I’m playing Renegade now, it is a great album that doesn’t seem to get the accolades it deserves.

Nice one mate. Yeah, it's always been my favourite Lizzy Album. One I have on Vinyl and CD. Enjoy. I think the same of the MSG Album, doesn't seem to get much attention, great music, guitars, lyrics and vocals. Thinking about watching Thin Lizzy 'Live and Dangerous - At the Rainbow '78' on DVD a bit later. Shame he left us so early. What could have been???

BuzzzFuzzz
Rainbow 'Down to Earth' 1979 Polydor Records, Polygram Aust. Loved this one when I was younger, still like to play it now and then. Quite sexist lyrics on a couple; "Don't know about your brain, but you look alright" - All Night Long. But I guess that's Rock 'n' Roll, especially back in the '70's. Needed a good wash too.
