WATTS GOOD - MELBOURNE : Call for EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST - Your System, Your Collection

Yes, very interested

Some of these are in Brisbane, admittedly that's 'Greater Brissy' so it covers a very wide area but Bleak City holds sway due to the prominenceor perhaps predominance of the systems down there, members are very engaged and very vocal...and social(as my many sore heads can attest!)

WA,NSW and SA have equal systems as does the quiet bit of Aus, Tasmania.

Perhaps the idea needs to be expanded beyond the leafy environs of Melbourne.

Oh in no way was I advocating for my system! The idea of the gear-focused videos, celebrating custom jobs and perhaps a few flat earthers, is what appealed in your post :)

No easy way to say this without sounding like a damp squib, but it may be worth checking with one's insurance company. They often give discounts for burglar alarms and security systems; in this case would publicity be treated as a kind of reverse situation.  Of course details such as "this is Max Jones of 34 Smithfield Drive, Toorak" won't apply, it's more likely to be "Hi, I'm TDD and I'm an audiophile", like any good 12 Step program.

I have enough hands up for now - thanks all.

PM me direct for any other expressions from this point onwards.

Look forward to the first episode in January 2020, which looks like it might be at 'The Church'.

Excellent Stuff :thumb:      The only Euro rock I got into was DAD.

I hope part 2 goes into depth of the luv of Madonna.  if not, there needs to be a part 3 :)

@Tubularbells

I think that Doug will look fabulous with a large brim Fedora hat

Apart from HiFi I also like hats, to the point that I have a small collection

So my keen eye to pick a hat person  is not to be discounted ?

Thanks to everyone leaving a Like, a Comment or Thumbs up here on SNA.

I wonder if I could ask you to also please leave one on YouTube itself, if possible?

I don't get paid for any of these vids and they take a *lot* of work, so your support is the most appreciated thing.   :thumb:

The link is here :  https://youtu.be/rHzTD-fbzn4

You don't have to watch it again - just leave a Like, or even Subscribe if you feel like it.

And if you'd prefer to dislike it, or a comment, that's OK too... it's all feedback I need to hear from our community, about what to do in the future.  ?

cheers!

Beautiful hat. But, really should be worn with a nice suit.

Less hat talk, more volunteers to be on Watts Good Episode 4+, please!   ?

@Tubularbells With that original "The Wall" mate. Try Plastx. Worked really well on my Hazed up LP's.

PART 2 of Doug's loungeroom (aka The Church) will premiere this weekend.

The focus is more on his audio gear and the lounge, than the previous vinyl.

It's a shorter video, so if you didn't last 25 minutes here, you'll be happier with the 4-5 mins for this one.

I’d rather a 25min video on the audio gear especially those magnificent Sovereign’s than the record collection!
