I thought RCM's were the bomb for cleaning records.....well, that's what I've read on stereonet.

It’s more to do with pressing quality issues I think it will go back to JB HiFi for a replacement

Janjuggler
Hi All, Icehouse, Man Of Colours Rerelease of Tricolour vinyl, which seems to sound good, there is no definitive problem when going between colours as there is about a one centimetre mech of colour eg: where the red and yellow meet it is orange, where the yellow and blue meet it is green, where the blue and red meet it is purple. KRSDarwin
Been picking through Air Raid Records to add to my various artists collection. Have been enjoying this one this evening. This one’s got that killer sheen on it (which I knew). Don’t hold too much hope Kirmuss can restore this one but will give it a go. I thought RCM's were the bomb for cleaning records.....well, that's what I've read on stereonet. I get a definite audible improvement in every record that I put though the URCM process. Loss of pops and crackles, lower noise floor and often increased separation. With the Kirmuss URCM you generally need at least 3 rounds with surfactant applied by goat hair brush in between each wash (so about a 25min process for 2 records). On one great record I have I ran it though around 8 times and got improvement each time until it now sounds brilliant (original 1960 US pressing of Bill Evan’s Trio’s ‘Portrait in Jazz’). I swear by my URCM and the Kirmuss process but it is time consuming. As with many things, the more you put in the more you get out.
Scott Piesse
If like me youve always disliked (or even hated) the violin... youve never heard this fella play ;-). Inspired by @scuzzii I went searching on Amazon for something id never heard before... If you love the Blues and even Jazz this is a must have! Incredible!
Scott Piesse
This one is straight from the @scuzzii list of recommendations... First time listening... absolutely amazing! Melbourne based Afro Jazz with a bit of rapping thrown in. Wow!!!
