cheekyboy
Doug MaCleod - There's A Time on Reference Recording label 45rpm 2LP Half Speed Mastered -the recording is an excellent pressing and as usual, Doug does not disappoint. I'm a huge Doug MaCleod fan, but came across his music by chance around 20 years ago. I had my son playing a tennis tournament in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne and needing to fill in time between matches, we went into Whatmough Audio and Colin Whatmough was very helpful and generous with his time and let us listen to several pairs of his loudspeakers, knowing full well that we were just killing time. One of the demo albums Colin played that day for us was Doug MaCleod's 'Whose Truth, Whose Lies' and I was hooked on his music from that day on. I had a great catalogue of music to explore from that time too, as Whose Truth, Whose Lies was recorded in 2000 and Doug had released several very good albums prior to that.
