I must have been lucky Cliff, picked this up relatively cheaply from Red Eye Records in Sydney (from memory). Unopened at this stage. awayward
I never thought I would ever post in a Jazz topic, but I was reading about the Hazelrigg Brothers yesterday and what an amazing recording the album Songs We Like is. Just had a listen and it is audiophile heaven, just piano, bass and drums, highly recommended. Edited December 15, 2018 by awayward

t_mike
Some early Benny, This album is great! Early live recordings being narrated post WWII style by a dj at the military radio station. Sounds to an earlier recording full of crackles as played by the dj, then recorded by the station. Further to this there is narration from the stage presenter at the original gig. One can easily get a sense of being at the gig, or in fact being in the military and listening on the radio. Teddy Wilson is a standout in what is already great musicianship. So here it is, a US government bootleg.
t_mike
A little West Coast jazz with Jack Sheldon and crew. The west really had a different sound to mid and east coast jazz through the 60s and 70s.

If I had only known how good it was, definitely in my top 10 jazz vocal now! It is the UK mono 1962 reissue, Discogs only has it at $35.00 tops, not that I am intending to sell it.
