:ban: wash your mouth out! None of that language here please, this is a coffee appreciation thread. What if the children, or the children's children were to read your perverted musings.

Ok,

my son son bought me and the boss a coffee machine.....

i can't believe the cost of this thing, apparently self cleaning and all!   Water level detection and different pods has different selections..

the milk container can be easily pulled out and sit in the fridge!  And all is self cleaning!    Really! It's too good to be true!

Made in Italy......

came with 16 pods.  At $0.65 a pod,  I think it's cheaper and faster with instant.  :P

Just put the "coffee" in the bottom of the cup and press the button. No pod needed at all!

I have two of these,  just mine is a bit bigger than most.   1 use 8 ink cartridge and is about 2 metres long, 1.5 meter tall, I only change the cartridge once a year because they are 700ml each.  And the other 1 is smaller about 1 metre long, weighs about 50 kg and use 12 inks.

Photo, or it never happened ;)

I install many a roaster each year as part of my job and have this one left over so to speak, as this thread is not a for sale one I'm only casting about for expressions of interest only OK. more details etc will be provided If its not against Marc's rules.

Hmmmm?

If i didn’t know any better, I would have thought this was a “white van speaker” scenario [emoji51]

It can be delivered in a white van if desired but otherwise its legit, wanna see a pic or two?

I'd like to mention how pleased I have been with the Jura coffee machine (Swiss) I got quite some years ago.  Much better coffee than any pod-based machine.

A couple of years ago (after many years use) an o-ring needed replacement, and I have to rave about the exceptional service from Jura in Hawthorn.  They were happy to take the unit from Mrs.Feline's car (she has some limitations lifting).  The service cost was extremely low.  We had accidentally broken a hinge off a plastic door, and they only charged $7 for the replacement part.  They also said that when we want another machine they have a very generous trade-in scheme.  Very pleasant people to deal with.  The best service/repair I have ever experienced.

Our previous machine was a Krupps (French).  Broke just after warranty ended.  Cost 50% of the new price to get it repaired in another state.  The repair lasted 6months.  The Krupps coffee was nowhere as good as we get from our Jura machine.

A friend of mine, his brother is a coffee judge in Australia, recommended to try this French Press. This technique actually works for me!

Strange, he's not actually using the "press" or plunger  bit at all.  You could do this in any container and just put a filter on top of your cup for any stray bits.

well this has been my last setup for around a year now. Finally finished with custom parts and am happy with the finished product, though i think i may change the feet to some taller s/s ones.

The side panels are billet aluminium and have been anodised in an electric blue, a creation From Rick @ the coffee machinist.
The steam lever has also been altered from the standard toggle switch at the front to the lever on the side. A joint adventure from the coffee machinist and specht design.

Machine was powder coated in matte black and the group cap was the final piece which was delivered yesterday. I didnt like the boring flat group caps so had one made to look like the stada style one.
Both these were thanks to Dan @specht design
