Alphason Posted March 27, 2024 Posted March 27, 2024 (edited) Further Information: I have for sale a Dr Feickert Blackbird turntable with the optional inertia platter (without tonearm). The RRP of the turntable is $12,999 and the RRP of the optional inertia platter is $1020, so the total RRP without tonearm is about $14,000. NOTE: The Kuzma 11” 4Point Arm in the photos is not included in the sale, but if you are seriously interested in the complete turntable with arm, pm me and I may give it consideration. The tonearm is the late model 4Point with the sapphire and ruby cups for the pivots, it is in like new condition and is complete with all packaging and accessories. I purchased this on a whim from a SNA member last year and didn’t get around to using it because I ended up with four high end turntables. It’s time to be sensible and settle on only one! The turntable is exactly as I received it; I haven’t even fitted a cartridge. According to the previous owner: This two motor, two arm capable deck was bought new from Pure Music Group a few years ago but has had less than 100 hours of use. Certainly, the condition of the turntable would seem to confirm that this is the case. I have plugged it in and switched it on, I was amazed at how quickly the platter came up to speed, but that is all that I have done. I do not have any packaging for the turntable, however, it could be packed and shipped safely at purchasers’ expense and I can do whatever is necessary at my end to make that happen. Tough market indeed… Yes, I agree, it is a tough market, and it is a buyers market! In a couple of years time we will be looking back and reminiscing about the great deals that we passed up on. 3 1
