scuzzii
Blood Orange - Coastal Grooves. Euro pressing - tis excellent. I have this but yet to listen to it. How does it compare to his latest (which I have on high rotation)? Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk

scuzzii
The line up for this afternoon. Bernard Fanning - Tea and Sympathy. This is the reissue. Side 1 amiss I reckon. Vocals were quite back in the mix and it seemed flat to me. Side 2 was better but I was disappointed overall. Noisy too. For a freshly opened LP, just not good enough. I wish companies would stop using f'ing paper inners.....Tried side 1 of Civil Dusk. Better production than T&S in my 'opinion'.Chet Faker pink vinyl version (which is less noisy than the clear). Now playing The Black Crows - Amorica. Love this LP and the vinyl is a decent one.Next will be Powderfinger-reissue of Double Alergic.Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk

scuzzii
Well that's annoying. Scratch on side 2 of Double Alergic. Unplayable. So both my items from Red Eye will be returned. Bernard Fanning and Powderfinger. Not happy.. (no expectations they will do much but they need to give feedback to supplier that they were damaged)Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk

michaelw
keeping up with my 50/50 new vinyl hit rate planet of the apes needs one disc replaced... poor old norah has a bad distortion on side 1. suzanne was a near- perfect pressing ! very quiet, just a little wavy. LuzArt
I can't fault it. Excellent sonics, perfect pressing. Pressed in the EU but I don't know who did it. My copy of Kill To Get Crimson was the same but I haven't listened to that for a while though I can't recall anything amiss. Good to hear. Guy Fletcher talked about the air around the acoustic instruments on Crimson and you can hear it on the CD but the vinyl has always been less stellar IMO. Tape warmth but too much air removed.
