rantan Posted April 14, 2020 Posted April 14, 2020 @SBM I don't know what your budget may be but, there is a very nice EL 34 based tube integrated from Line Magnetic, which I have just recently trialled ( for a full week ) with my Silver 500s and the result was great. This is a seriously good amplifier, built to last a lifetime and will make the RX8 sing very well indeed. The Australian distributor is a member here and is also based in Perth. I am sure he may be able to arrange an in home trial and I am certain you will be impressed. His user name is @caminperth . Here is a link to the amplifier on his website. https://line-magnetic.com.au/portfolio-item/lm-34ia/ 1

So tube amp will on best low budget. I am not sure on the cost, As I am from great Southern WA it becomes easy. Also it seems you have lot of Gears like luxman, Kinki, tubes ,and speakers like MA, Dynaudio if in case you do not mind what else you have in your collection and few words on your thoughts on your collection like pros and cons. Thanks again Edited April 14, 2020 by SBM Update
rantan Posted April 14, 2020 Posted April 14, 2020 Hi @SBM. The price should be in the link I posted but in any case it is $2399,which may be more than some tube amps around but this one is of superior quality and will last a lifetime. It paired beautifully with my Silver 500 and also my Dynaudio, via the 4ohm terminals. When it comes to tube amps, buying quality is an absolute must. The cheap ones may look nice but this is a classic instance of getting what you pay for. 2

Also, we have the EL34 and 805 based integrated amplifiers in at @Frank Prowse Hi-Fi at the moment so if you are able to, this could be a good place to check them out, depending on your location. 2
