A couple of months ago I decided to set up a stereo area where a 3-seater used to waste space. It never got used and blocked the lower part of the window which was another reason I wanted to move it.

 

I don’t have much space to work with in my 2-bedder and after much pondering, I figured I could put a stereo here. The perpendicular wall is where my tv and HT floorstanders are.

 

Started with the gear in my sig, except I had the Schiit Saga instead of the Audiolab. It remains to be seen if the Saga will continue *boom*tish* as it’s with the dealers being assessed. I’m pretty happy with the SQ as is, even though the M-One was only intended on being a temporary measure. I have a Pathos Classic Remix with Hidac on the way in a few weeks.

 

 Anyway, enough jibber jabber, in with my amazing display of cable work?

 

I should add, I built the storage units and the speakers are either being moved or put on isolators. Despite the not ideal location (particularly the left) the SQ is good.

My system in the build. Started last December after my NAD C356BEE spat the dummy. Third strike for NAD, so I climbed aboard the upgrade express to Marantz city and came back with:

 

PM KI Ruby amp 

SA-14S1 SE sacd player and DAC

Rega P3 (on loan)

Pair of REL T7i subs

Aperion Grand Verus towers 

 

The Rega will make way for a Marantz TT-15S1 and if my stars align a pair of Kef Reference 1 standmounts will someday replace the Aperions. Would also love to try REL S510s instead of the T7i units. First priority is a Bluesound Node 2i to relieve my MacBook of streaming duties. Happy listening y'all. 🤠

 

 

 

 

 

Newly acquired Paradigm Persona 7Fs, replacing Paradigm Studio 100s. Physically larger and twice as heavy (68kg) introducing a new level of clarity, transparency and even lower tighter bass. My family prefer the new look.
