Selling my beautiful Walnut finished Sonus Faber Olympica Nova 1 Floor standing speakers and stands (current model). These speakers have been used lightly in my office system over the past 18 months. I am the second owner and these were bought new a from the Australian distributor in 2023 and were only 12 months old, so barely run in when I purchased them.

They are in immaculate condition in all respects and would suit a new buyer, coming with factory boxes, manuals and gold jumpers for those that do not wish to bi-wire them. The sale includes the factory stands, which include cable management for a minimalist presentation and to which the speakers are screwed on to ensure a stable and secure platform. Stands come with factory spikes and hard floor protectors as shown in the pictures

These speakers are audiophile grade, and have been powered by high end Naim separates to which they are beautifully suited and are easy to drive. They are easily placed close to a rear wall given the angle of the rear bass port. By choosing which speaker you place on which side of your system you can disperse the bass further from the rear wall or directly on to it as designed, providing wonderful flexibility in placement and room tuning.

These would suit a buyer seeking the famous Sonus Faber design and build quality, but who seeks greater transparency and detail production than the Electra Amator III. They present as detailed, non-fatiguing with surprising bass weight for a standmount speaker and an ideal addition to a small to moderate listening room. The dampened silk dome tweeter provides beautiful treble and a large soundstage.

A really LOVELY pair of vintage B&O loudspeakers from the late 1980s.

They are in surprisingly good nick, and play and sound beautifully. I bought them several month back thinking I'd make them the star of a vintage system, but never got around to it.... so better to let these vintage beauties go to a home where they will be cherished.

They come with the specific B&O metal stands..... which I believe makes them a bit of a catch. And for their age, they are in pretty damn good condition, with only minor repairs to some the grey cover. No structural issues as far as I can tell.

I don't have boxes...... so most likely pickup only. BUT..... if you are desperate to get these and can't pick them up, let's talk.

Bizzarely HiFiNews in 2024 did a re-review of this vintage of the so called Red Line series, and has a focus on the 60.2 Still stands the test of time:

"The loudspeakers created a soundstage of impressive width and solidity with very little concentration being required to locate each group of players. Being critical one could say the sound has a 'smoothed over' quality to it, but not necessarily in an obtrusive way or in a manner that spoils the enjoyment of the music.
I was also keen to explore B&O's claims for the 'fast' response of the woofers used in the RL 60.2. To this end 'Physical Presence' by Level 42 [World Machine; Polydor 872 487-2] was played with speed and gusto - with material like this I can see what B&O meant! The heavy percussion does indeed have a real feeling of attack, although some overhang from the floor placement is an inevitable by-product.
What is really impressive is how the sound from what, in practice, is a fairly small pair of loudspeakers holds together at extended volume settings. The sturdy cabinets are clearly coming into play here, or not as the case may be… Again the treble was perhaps a little muted when listening at the edges of the tweeter's field, but its extension improved considerably by moving closer (or standing up…)."

Of course, WITH the stands they should perform even better!

I don't have a lot to decide what is a fair price here..... so I've punted for $500. Let me know if you feel I have erred either way.

All you need is a good quality line level analogue preamplifier/mixer to run these.
They work perfectly, and cosmetically good with some marks on cabinets.
These are a no grille design. Come with power cables not pictured.

I have a great pair of Fostex NF-1 studio monitors for you. They are sensitive and have a delicious flat and quick response. I have used these both as monitors in my studio, and in my living room. I have loved using these, but am now downsizing and they are now ready for a new loving home. They have a couple of little blemishes, but these are purely visual.

Great little pair of Peachtree Audio speakers in good physical condition and perfect working order. These are the rosewood models and apart from a couple of little marks, look good. Grills are average.

The sound is excellent. Amazing bass response for their size and the highs are lovely and non-fatiguing.

Reluctantly putting up for sale my Dynaudio Contour 1.3 SE bookshelf speakers.

These were originally purchased new by my father. They were passed down to me about 13 years ago. But as I already have another set of speakers in daily use, these haven’t been getting the attention they deserve.

Honestly, I’ve held onto them this long because of how incredible they sound — especially the midrange and vocals. They have that classic Dynaudio character: smooth, organic, and very easy to listen to for hours.

Selling my Gen 1 LS50 Wireless pair. The master (right) speaker has a system error on startup — power button flashes continuously, touch panel unresponsive. Have tried power cycling, disconnecting the slave, and the pinhole factory reset with no luck. Haven't attempted the USB firmware update tool yet, so there's a chance it's recoverable.

The slave (left) speaker was working fine prior to the master faulting. Both drivers are in good condition. No original box, remote, inter-speaker cable or accessories included.

For sale are a lovely pair of Legacy Audio Studio HD speakers in deep gloss metallic black.

Incredible build quality and delicious sound quality. They are a window into what's on offer via Legacy's high-end, big-dollar floor standing speakers, but in a compact package.

Surprisingly easy to drive despite the 4 ohm rating.

They also have trim switches to reduce the treble and lower bass by 2db pending room placement and acoustics.

The speakers are in excellent condition, and the only blemish of note is a little nick on the rear side of one speaker as shown in the photos. You need to look very hard to see it and it's only noticeable in certain lighting conditions.

Included are the original embroidered velvet covers.

I am only selling because the DIY bug has bitten, and these are simply too good to tinker with.

They are the best stand-mounts that I've owned and I will be sorry to see them go.

Available is a rare, factory-matched sequential pair of JBL 4401 Compact Control Monitors (Serial #11011 and #11012). These are a genuine piece of Melbourne’s broadcasting history.
These monitors were part of the professional infrastructure at the iconic GTV 9 "Television City" studios in Richmond, installed in the Master Control Room. I purchased them directly from Channel 9 via Grays Online in March 2011 during their relocation to the Bourke Street facility. I personally removed these units from the Master Control walls. I have the email from Grays Online to show my purchase. They have been in a smoke-free home environment and meticulously cared for ever since.

Original Asset Tags: Original GTV inventory tags (GTV4605 and GTV4606) are intact on the front baffles.

I purchased these speakers from the forum around 4 years ago and fair to say they exceeded my expectations. They fit perfectly into my room and by the time I replaced them I had many great experiences with them. I doubt you could find better value in the market for some kick ass Home theatre speakers, the THX ULTRA specification really does mean something with these, they perform at a very high level.

I'll start off by saying these are not "bright" speakers, they put out exactly what is put in and along with Dirac and my two Rel subwoofers they sounded amazing to my ears, I've only replaced them because I am leaning back towards 2ch stereo music now so needed more of a hybrid speaker to swing between HT and Music. That said 5.1 surround sound and concerts sounded bloody impressive with these!

If you have a room that can accommodate them you will be very happy with these sitting up front, once you've had matching LCR speakers there really is no turning back, the sound field goes to a new level completely. Unfortunately I can't demo, they are no longer connected to my system.

OVERALL CONDITION
Speakers and grills in overall great condition, there is some scuffing here and there but as you can see in the photos they present well, they spent most of their time with me housed in a baffle wall.

SPEAKER REPAIR
About 3.5 years ago I had an accidental volume spike with two of the speakers, I took the speakers to Queensland Speaker Repairs and he tested them thoroughly. All tweeters and woofers were tested. The tweeters were found to be fine, but he found that on one of the woofers the voice coil was deformed, so he replaced it. You can see there is a small amount of glue residue on the repaired speaker. I had full intention to replace the woofer with a genuine M&K Woofer if I could hear anything, but I never could so I didn't. The replacement cost at the time was $395.00.
As you can see by my price, this has been factored into the asking price.

BI-WIRE CABLES
These have been upgrade by the previous owner with ATLAS plugs and sliver wire, note that one of the plastic surrounds was missing when I took ownership.

For sale is a pair of Usher bookshelf speakers (S-520) and the matching centre channel speaker (S-525) in a lovely cherry colour finish.
They were bought new from a local HiFi retailer in Perth at the time of purchase.

Up for sale is a beautiful pair of Onkyo 2000X loudspeakers. Widely regarded as Onkyo’s answer to the legendary Yamaha NS-2000. Built during the golden era of Japanese hi-fi, these are substantial, no-compromise loudspeakers designed to compete with the very best of the late 1970s / early 1980s domestic market

Cosmetically very presentable overall. There are a few minor blemishes consistent with age, small marks in the veneer - but nothing structural or major. Grilles and drivers present well. These are 40+ year old speakers, so light signs of honest use are to be expected. Woofers have just been re-foamed so are ready for another decade of service at least.

These are serious cabinets - heavy, dense, and engineered with precision. The 2000X delivers authoritative low-end, open and natural midrange, and crisp detailed highs without harshness. They image beautifully and scale effortlessly with quality amplification.

I discovered one very small mark in the paint finish on the rear of one cabinet when photographing the speakers for this ad. I am the only person to have handled them after picking them up from Mike, they have never been bumped or knocked.
 
Lenehan stand mount speakers truly deliver the mystical ‘disappearing act’ when set up well. They respond particularly well with sufficient quality power, which does not necessarily mean huge wattage but they do like a bit of grunt. I ran these with both a 20watt p/side Class A integrated and later a pair of 60watt Class A mono blocks, they were terrific with both.
 
They deliver tight controlled bass that stand mounts of this size really have no right to. They are quite neutral (uncoloured), very musical speakers and if I were to pick one thing that I feel they really excel at it is natural life like vocals with great imaging and a large soundstage.

While shipping is theoretically possible I have listed as “Shipping Not Available” because the speakers and stands are all very heavy (65kgs per side) and I did not ask Mike for packaging when I collected them from the factory. I am on the northside of Brisbane and will deliver anywhere between Ballina, Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba.
 
Audition is also possible, encouraged if you’ve not heard ML2’s, for bonafide buyers.

“Construction is hand built and meticulous in every sense of the word. The composite enclosure panels are first hand built piece by piece starting with the 36mm HDF 4mm steel plate composite baffle. After all composite panels are individually constructed the enclosure is assembled using probably the worlds strongest epoxy adhesive.

Steel rod, 25mm hardwood dowel and Birch Ply differential bracing are incorporated to produce an enclosure with phenomenally low energy storage.

A single ML2 enclosure takes 6 hours of hand sanding before being painted. The finished Loudspeaker looks like it has been machined from a solid billet.

Renovations mean downsizing so I'm selling these q concept 30 speakers and matching stands. I can't see any marks on these and they all look pretty much as new.

I don't think the concept 30s need any introduction - amazing speaker for the money.

Have the original box for the speakers but not for the stands so pickup only.

I think these are priced sharply but open to reasonable offers.
