Luc
Yup, watched ep 3 last night...very good, very very good. Billy bob Thornton is fantastic, I'm a bit ambivalent about Martin Freeman though.
Gee Emm
It was sooo good. I didn't know what was gunna happen next. BBT, is the man. "The younger boy, seems a bit dim. Ya had him checked!?" I almost wet my pants. MF played his part exceptionally well. I actually felt sorry for him. Graham

David.M
TV episode ? I thought it was a movie ? obviously am not wiht the times ! And a very good movie , though I've always thought Sharon Stone's performance in Casino was a little more deserving of the Oscar over Frances McDormand's in Fargo. henry218
i think Martin Freeman is really overrated, he's not convincing at all. the series seems good, BBT is the only one have major attraction here. good movie though overall.
emesbee
I always thought Fargo was one of the Coen brothers' better movies. It obviously forms the basis for the new TV series. But, no, I didn't see the episode on TV. I'm not sure how much the Coen brothers had to do with the TV series, although the link below mentions them as executive producers. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fargo_(TV_series)
Luc
They had no input at all into the series but approved of it's script and production team and gave it their imprimatur hence the notice in the credits.

Guest Y B
Just watched 4 episodes and agreed. Great show, Billy Bob Thornton is great, Martin Freeman is trying too hard! Not convincing. Bring back William H. Macy! YB
