Went to this new establishment with Mrs Boss yesterday and came away feeling a little hot under the collar.

They didn't hire anyone to do their marketing, did they.

I don't see the issue, Korean restaurant generally have a cook your experience.

 

Was the food bad? Did you get sick?

Ouch..... don't think I could take the pain of "well done."

Well perhaps not everyone noticed the error with their brochure, however, I really quite enjoyed the experience, although the war office was probably less impressed than I.

 

The flavours were good, the servings plentiful and I came away feeling I knew how to better serve my fellow man.  :lol: :lol: Groan!!!

Can understand your hesitation in having to pay to cook - Prog (and I did notice the brochure which was hilarious!)

Reminds me of an experience around the early 80's when I went with some friends to a Japanese restaurant in Melbourne for the first time.

They confiscated our bottles of wine; and even more outrageously our shoes at the door and directed us to buy highly priced drinks at a mock ol' western bar with wagon wheels.

Then they cooked up Sukiyaki (to me mince meat & veg) on a bunsen burner then charged us an exorbitant amount for that - I did the math on what the dish was costing in total for all of us and labelled it a rip-off!

Sadly soured my going back to a Japanese restaurant for decades before I was prepared to go to one!

I think they're being corralled at a new Asian restaurant owned by Mick Jagger and friends called "Wokin' The Dog"

I also remember going to a German restaurant in Crows Nest, Sydney about 40 years and had to inquire what sauce was used for the Weiner Schitzel.

Fury dim sims are not served in Korean Restaurants, however there are a lack of dogs in Point Cook.....
