The war office went to the local markets recently and scored a rather large avocado.

I took a photo of it next to a 70gm egg to give you an idea of its size.

Correct - A fully calibrated measurement which includes said item's girth and weight will be conducted at the institute of correctness for items that have been embiggened beyond their expected shape, size and weight.

 

This will be endorsed by the Department of Accurate Weights & Measures which in turn is overseen by the Department of Incompetence, I.E. the Gubment.

 

I think my wife also took a photo of said item on our set of scales which showed it to weigh XXXXXXXXXXX gms but I ran out of time myself to do likewise as the handbrake had begun mulching it up for some guacamole dip to be spread on last night's nachos. Yum!
