Currently listening to the exact system that was my first experience with good sound 30 years ago. 

Anyone care to guess the components? The Denon 1200 turntable is missing atm.

NS-1000m purchased in 1982 from East Coast Audio in South Melbourne along with the Hafler pre/power combo. 

Here’s me guessing in a room with a pair right in front of me too. 😂😂

My pair were purchased in 1978. Not by me of course as I was one. Have my step dad’s receipt here somewhere too! 
Were purchased with a Nakamichi 600 series preamp and tape player.

Hilarious! I’ve had many sets of the M’s, at one stage I had 3 sets at once. 
My first pair was a mint pair of ebony 1000’s which I still have.
