Gotta love chili.

Rocoto (Capsicum Pubescens), Aji Amarillo (C. Baccatum), Scotch Bonnet (C. Chinense) and Naga (mongrel bastard from hell) in the garden at the moment.

Chilli FTW.

The Scorpion is awesome.
Fruity++++ but scary hot.

After sampling their Seven Pot sauce and their Naga Paste, I ate a dollop of a Chilli Factory 'Scorpion Strike' sauce on a biscuit: creeping heat, followed by feeling stoned for 5-10 minutes and a burn that felt like I'd eaten an entire mouthful of black peppercorns.
Needless to say I bought the sauce :)

I've been a chillie head all my life, since I grew up as a kid in Thailand in fact. My favourite hot sauce atm is "Bone Suckin Sauce" available here from Peters in Kensington. It's got really awesome flavour followed by a good burst of habanero heat - I have it on everything except icecream haha

Just make sauce and have it on your stuff.

Sauce making is fun.

I have made sauce and pickled some plus I keep some in the freezer.

I made paste once with the pestle and mortar.

I'd rather buy it now.

Update, as healthy as they looked the buggers didn't survive, spewing!

Ahhh man that's a damn shame, any idea what knocked them out?

Mine are only a few weeks into the ground and are showing signs of stress (yellowing leaves) which I have remedied on other chilli plants by spreading spent coffee grounds around them and watering in so will begin with my "tonic" tomorrow.

Its purpose is to help clean up the gut.  The pain is psychologically good, once you know that all that bacteria from that leftover rare steak the night before will be gone.. The burn travelling through the intestinal tract will give you a sense of warmth..which may or may not be comforting.  Once it passes your gut, it will be metaphorically resemble like a polished white canvas for the next intake of grub.. trust me, your colon will thank your for this but whomever uses the toilet right after you may not! ;)
