Yes, the PQ has some  issues on the conversion.  Motion artifacts can be easily detected if you want to.

 

For me, and I am sure for the rest of the Robbie fans, wouldn't mind this as this is in 1080p format and it's a godsend to us especially after you watched it in letterboxed 4:3 DVD.

 

The SQ is not impressive either but again, it's better than the DVD.  I was watching it on headphones late last night.......

Rock Records turn 30 back in 2010 and this was released last year. I picked it up on a recent trip to Taiwan at the 老板娘店 upon her recommendations. It took me 2 nights to get through the full 5 hours but I must say it was well worth it. Close to 50 artistes performed (including some of the lyricists and composers), it is certainly a trip down memory lane if you were born in the 70s or earlier and grew up with these songs. The concert was divided into 'classes' where artistes were kind of grouped into their era. I believe many of them are already retired but many signed up for this performance. Among the many artistes that were there was Wu Bai, Mayday, Ah Niu, Fish Leong, Pan Yue Yun, Chen Sheng, Alex To, Richie Ren, Wa Wa and even Tarcy Su (still lao chio)  :-*. I don't think I need to talk too much about the songs, there is probably something out there for everyone and they will trigger some fond memories.

Sara Bareilles live at the Variety Playhouse. It's only on a DVD but the stereo LPCM sonics is good. Boy, I miss her concert. She is the total consummate performer with such an adorable case of verbal diarrhea. I love listening to her stories between the songs. Her zest is very infectious.

 

Brave - my wife says this is her fave song and she says it is very affirming. At one time she starts her work day with this one for a whole week which always puts her in the right mood. To me the song is just pop until a couple of weeks ago we sang this at a karaoke and the lyrics jump out at me. My wife is right.

Manhattan - not one of my fave songs from The Blessed Unrest album. But Sara told such a sad story about it that now it has become one of my faves. The words speak off the ending of her long relationship with someone when she decided to move to New York to start a new life. The lyrics is beautiful and is basically written from his point of hopeful view

Marie Fredriksson recovered from her brain tumor and basically half of her head is not functioning well.

I watched Roxette's concert here locally couple of years ago I also find the performance is not top notch due to this.

But I still give her credit of what she can offer to perform in front of her fans.

Too many good songs......She is, IMHO, the superstar singer of them all.  CHAMPION!!

This project is about her being able to sing and protray the songs that she truly loves but do not have the opportunity to be the original singer. Yes , it's all cover songs but I think the last 2 to 3 songs at the end were her own..  she did very good job on these cover songs and of course because she like them; some even came out more emotional than the original performer, IMHO.

I bought this Jenny Tseng bluray concert specifically for my mom who is a fan of hers...I'm not into her songs - not my generation :P

But the PQ and SQ not bad as I watched a few songs performed by her for the first 30mins before I went about to do my stuff.
