Thats one solid beast, still can't get over the fact that it's just a pre/pro. There'd be many power amps envious of that build quality. Makes you wonder what draws enough power in a pre to require those two toroidals. Cheers CJ

All toroids are big, the variation in size compared to other equipment may be due to the fact they are using toroids rather than how much current is being drawn.

Guest Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 Well it ended up being a very confusing issue.what happened was that Denon japan will only supply them the Avp with the POA.They will supply the pre-amps in August September but heck Im happy now i got the POA also.I have to admit very impressed in the Sound.just did a few demos and boy they were open and clear as, beautiful.

lethal Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 Did u read many reviews on the setup you bought franin?Im not trying to bag it out because i would buy the same thing to run my deftech's but i found this on audioholics.Not sure if its the same model as you got Friends; I am sorry to inform my review of the new Denon Separates will be delay. I found too many operational bugs with my review sample of the Pre/Pro and had to send it back. I am not sure when I will be receiving a replacement but will update when I have the info. In the meantime, I am digging this new hulking 10CH power amp while I wait it out __________________ Gene DellaSala
