turbo56k Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 Happy father's day, to all the fathers on SNA. We worked hard this year, and this our day to brag about it. So did any fathers received any audio components upgrade as presents???

Grumpy Posted September 2, 2007 Posted September 2, 2007 And Happy Granfathers Day. Isn't it great seeing our kids 'putting up' with their kids now. I'm not seeing my kids today, one in Fremantle, the other on Yorke Peninsula. The daughter in-law and grandson dropped in last night, with a card, on the way to the footy, all the way from Yorketown, Even got to see them on the TV after one of Ports many goals. COOL!! The daughter in Fremantle went to a Footy BBQ full of Fremantle fans. Yep she flew the flag for PORT and rang me late last nigh a little tippsy, but very happy. YES fathers day I will miss them.
Spearmint Posted September 2, 2007 Posted September 2, 2007 Grumpy, I’m with you on this front although I only have one Grandchild. There is a saying that a mother cannot move away from her children, but children can move away from their mother. We are now in a similar situation with only the daughter still living close by, our son is working over in WA, although he’ll be back next weekend for a short visit. We’re just about to head on out for lunch with the daughter and her fiancé so to all you Dads have a great day, and for those whose fathers are still alive, do something special for them, trust me when they’re gone it’s too late.
GorgeousGeorge Posted September 2, 2007 Posted September 2, 2007 yep have a good one dads no audio components here. got a star wars tshirt though   just finished a round of mini golf with the kids, great fun! ive only got young ones, no grand kids here, at least for a little while anyway, although they do seem to grow bigger everyday

davidsss Posted September 2, 2007 Posted September 2, 2007 Spent the whole of Fathers' Day renovating. Bashed the ceiling out in our study yesterday and still cleaning up the mess today (last room, yippee - I might even post some pics for those who like to see a room as a shell). This morning I had breakfast cooked for me and I got a Rolling Stones DVD so I'm happy. Just need to find time to watch it with some volume, I still haven't watched the Elvis '68 comeback special I bought ages ago. DS
Phil G Posted September 2, 2007 Posted September 2, 2007 Hi Field Nothing like a new audio toy to help celebrate the importance of fathers day. Good on you and I'm glad to hear the enjoyment of your system is getting better and better. Looking forward to my next visit.
