This time a rare 1977 60' (1.5M) Blondie Plastic Letters Record Store Promo Standee!

 

Pictured here with the Plastic Letters LP and also the 1977 12 inch Record Store Standee.

 

Her large standee was even used in a film!

I use a trick I learnt from my mates when I lived in Singapore.....just delete a digit!

Nice recent quote from Richard Vandersteen. 

 

He's been in the game over 50 years and was present at making his own master tapes - which helps him to design his speakers.

Cody, never make sonic evaluations of anything in your system except digital with digital!  You have a record player and even a modest one will sound better than anything digital because LPs are still our highest resolution source other than 2nd or so generation tape.  I use digital when listening casually, but all evaluations are made with my master tapes (first generation) or LP's that I am very familiar with, period.  RV

Was awesome to finally hear the improvements with all the upgrades since I was here last..... very envious!!!

 

Is always a love hate relationship when I visit as always leave with a shopping list of albums and collectibles to look for when i leave

Thanks and you're very welcome mate! Was a great session - which was helped with some lovely red wine - thanks for that.

I am free most Tuesday and Thursdays from 9AM until 3PM. Unfortunately with 2 young kids evenings are out.
