    After a (long) year, my system is finally set up in it's new home!    Sounds even better (!) than previous digs due to room size/layout and carpet/concrete floor.    Quite an improvement!   I h

well - mine is all in, and the low-end response as surrounds by the vaf icon 195's is much better than the Niles for in-ceiling duties. Appears that the vaf's are similar in sound level to the soundwall as well, whereas the niles were far more 'efficient' and had to be adjusted down by 5 db.

We will see over the next month whether I still concur with this initial conclusion. Anyway, I have a better timbre across the 5 channels now, with niles as rears (6 and 7 speaker) - those rears are handy for blue-ray movies but are not used in sacd/dvd-a.

Just returned back from Malaysia via Singapore and looks like I have now moved back for good!

Saw Elbow play at The Esplanade in Singapore last night and the sound was fantastic (as usual). No Hi-Fi comes anywhere near it.....

Elbow were fantastic to see as well....

Picked up my phono stage (Ayre p5-xe) and quite a bit of vinyl as well....

Time to get the phono stage burnt in and then will post some pix when i can.......

System is getting there!
