Perhaps you could give Keith a few lessons - he seems to have lost his confidence:popcorn

Here is another one - mushroom with taleggio and chermoula pizza. The taleggio was bought from SNA member Moot4315's cheese shop on Maling Road (see this thread.

You know, like most situations, it's often the one you don't hear about or know about that sneaks up and king hits you.:party

I don't think it would be a common occurrence, that ones work place would smell like their own smelly old socks.:party

I still can't bring myself to try the really smelly cheeses.

I didn't think that goats wore socks! :party

Mmm, smelly cheese, love it. :)

The whole shop smells like stinky cheese, we had it painted last week and it smells like cheese again. Even the guy who laid the vinyl in the kitchen said he could smell it. It's an occupational hazard.

I'm not sure if it's smelly sock, more farmyard or barn, but the washed rind cheeses just really have a distinct aroma. That goats cheese had an amazing white mould, red mould, stinky, goat cheese thing, with and oozing paste of sticky deliciousness inside. Wow i eat to much cheese. IF you have known a goat or been near a goat you know the smell i'm talking about.

At least i can catch a cab though, the guys who work at Richmond Hill have been booted out of taxi's before.

I can attest to the smelliness of the shop. I walked in with clothes I found in last year's laundry pile and was complimented by Moot4315 as I walked in on my fine taste in aftershave. I took the taleggio home and seasoned it in socks that I wore every day for the past month and it came out slightly less smelly. Was disappointed.

Tonights pizzas.

Sweet Chilli Prawn.

Just about to go in the oven.

Cheers, Earle.

Well they look very nice, if a little 'arty' Earle. I prefer the rugged, earthy look of an SA pizza.

Enjoy them mate.

No girly Pizza's in SA - real honest Pizza - still I think Id eat those Earl - Hmmmmm show us the finished product PLEASE.

Keith might think he has a chance at beating me but the Italian Spiderman is on the job - the last one I made was simply stunning - pity my last one is a secrect otherwise id be sharing it all with you - Caputo??? Nah Ive discovered even better.

Sorry Andything, finished product now gone yum-yum.

The prawn pizza got the thumbs down, looked great, tasted okay-ish.

Back to ham and pineapple me thinks.

Cheers, Earle.

I can say one thing too you Earle - Kanmantoo!

Kanmantoo? it needs copper?

Kanmantoo? I can hear Homer Simpson now. "UMMMMMMM, BACON"

interesting that Andythiing seems to be the only one using pizza stones.

i have a couple and imho they are the key to the perfect pizza.

will take some pics next time it's pizza night

I have a stone too, an unused wedding present, will have to dig it out now after reading this thread - the pizza bug has bitten

i pre-heat it for 10 mins or so, and if using homemade dough put it on for the final rise (about 10 mins), then put (special super duper home made) sauce and toppings on and cook.

otherwise put the toppings on the premade base, onto the hot stone and cook, yum

Pizza night again :o

Gone back to tried and true,

Ham and pineapple.
