Haha yeah I just love the Weston sound. The regular Topaz was bought to pair with the NS-1000.
The KT120 is surprisingly powerful and engaging.
I’m thinking of bi-amping the JBL to run the 15’s with the Benchmark and the Compression Drivers with the KT120.
It’s all a juggling act at the moment. The Benchmarks I find take a while to warm up but when they do they are fantastic.
Also I have all new Chord cables in the whole system so getting that burnt in.
The soundstage is huge and the imaging precise. Luckily with this room I always get pin point imaging.

If you ever want to move the topaz on... ?

So the Benchmark monos sounds very good.
They take a while to warm but sound great. So much so I’d like to keep them. So I think a recap is on the cards.
Mundorf MCap Bypass caps for the PSU.

Nichicon FG for the smaller PSU caps.

Have requested Nichicon FG or Elna Silmic 11 for the amp boards.
Also Jantzen Superior Z caps ordered to replace the white MIT.
Also Welwyn resistor ordered to replace the two parallel cheapies.
