It really was fantastic to experience your new acquisitions with you Chanh, what a great morning for everyone involved. It is truly an exceptional room to be in. Once the needle is dropped or the play button is pushed the physical mass of gear disappears and what you are left with is what we all want, engagement with music, of ethereal proportions.

While it is still early days and the powering method isn't ideal, I was still quite impressed. My previous setup took years to perfect, and there was no doubt that the combination of Accuphase and Gryphon did a very good job. The new electronics take me further with emotion, clearly defining each instrument and artist within a well-formed three-dimensional soundstage. The sonic density is significantly higher, and when a drum kick or vocal attack hits, you can feel it not just through hearing but physically from your listening chair. The attack and decay are unprecedented, making the timing feel truly addictive once you're tuned into these fundamental sonic qualities.

Of course, it’s still early days, and there’s more to come once power and power cables are optimised.
