Lovely wine and should be drinking very well, enjoy👍

It's drinking well. I think the remaining 13 bottles I have should be timed to go progressively over the next 3 years.

  • Very good cool climate wine and certainly good value compared to the Clonakilla flagship. Co-fermented with 5% Viognier. Has the classic Canberra Shiraz white pepper.

  • Had a great lunch at Oncore by Clare Smyth yesterday. Very very exe wine list, so did matching wines..  grabbed an extra glass of this Neb.   Views speak for themselves

I’m very much hoping to to have some last the distance but can’t help but spread the love for this vineyard, amazing stuff, not too much of it over here in the west unfortunately

With the Chardonnay at a minimum 5-6 years, drinking 2015’s now, it’s like drinking sunshine in a bottle and the Gamay is a love affair that never dies. We do skewers of alternating lamb and leek barbecued on a Japanese hibachi using the genuine binchotan charcoal just brushed with peanut oil and a salt made from water drawn from 900ft below the surface on the Inland Sea near Izu Kogen. That and the Sorrenberg Gamay , last meal material.

Correct spelling of location.

I have a nice little stash of all the above 🤙

This is a cracker! 😋👍

Reminds me of Longmorn 16...

Interesting...what's that one like. We've tried quite a few since discovering Brookvale Union while up in FNQ. But most of them are "too sweet and not enough ginger" for Mrs CE. Current good ones are the afore-mentioned Brookvale Union, the recently found Stones and Matso's (currently favoured, but most expensive).

I haven't tried others recently, so without comparison the Buderim errs (to my taste) into the "too sweet, not enough ginger" category.  Nice enough, but i probably want more bite.  I saw another which i might try next time...although it was more expensive.

Love Ginger Beer - before I moved to the Goldie, I used to make my own and keep it under the house (which was raised up) - how well I remember those midnight explosions hitting the floor boards🤣 *boom* there goes another one !!

I also used to make my own labels up & put on the empty beer bottles from the local hotel and sell the Ginger Beer at the local shop - awesome days.

People would drive out to buy it & I used to pray it would not explode in their car on their way home 🤪

How brilliant!! You are one of a very select number on this forum who are/were manufacturers, and full respect🙏

I had plans, many years ago, to start beer brewing, until my wife commandeered the garage for other purposes. The garage is supposed to be returning to my control next year, but I think the brewing moment has passed, oh well😀
