I have the original packaging and can ship nationwide( your cost) with a carrier of your choice the remote has been in a clear bag since purchase and the manual is included, the phone photos dont do it justice but i cant see any marks apart from fingerprints I have been so impressed with this unit I expected to see out my days with it I recently upgraded my speakers from Harbeth HL Super HL5 to Tannoy Kensingtons and was amazed at the synergy and what the Luxman added gobs of current , power finesse and dynamism this amp will work beautifully with most speakers out there and is more powerful than the 110 watts suggest. With the 87db Harbeth it idled along with ample in reserve. Well, if its so good, why am I getting rid of it. I began to wonder what something higher up the range would be like and then fell into the trap of Stereonent classifieds I considered the top of the range 509x even used, double the asking of this, I asked the Luxman dealer who has had both, if i would get anything like a doubling of performance, or if i would hear it and think" that was and extra 4k well spent", no in both cases. the specs aren't that different either, Or the Class A, different, better for some but not for many. You will find a 505 ux cheaper, but( I am no golden ears ) the jump in performance is evident. I decided that this was the sweet spot in the range and would cope with upgrades well into the future, which it can. Just hoping my upgrade (bought unheard) is actually that. I can Demo this in East Vic Park you are welcome to bring or speakers or if not feasible can bring to yours to try with your room setup, for serious buyers only. Further information: On offer today is an amp from the artist Earl Weston from Weston Acoustics. His artisanal amplifiers need no introduction, however if one needs to dive in deeper there are many rave reviews at ones finger tips. The Topaz is a true ultralinear class A amplifier. It has a sweet musical sound which can be enjoyed for hours with no listerner fatigue at all. This Topaz now runs KT 77 tubes which cost north of 300.00 dollars, the rectifier tube was also upgraded. The tubes have ample life and have been used sparingly in a second system. The KT 77 made a huge improvement on the original 6CA7. It's said that with valve amplifiers the transformers hold the magic. The transformers here are painstakingly hand wound by Earl himself. One can hear this as the mids are liqiud smooth, the bass tight, and highs clear. I guess the results speak for themselves. I've found this amp to hold its own against some of my other more expensive amps. A great introduction to the magical world of hand crafted artisanal hifi. There is a small mark on the rear. Further Information:Price Drop I have had this amplifier for over 5 years now, I got it recapped earlier this year (I did have some initial issues with the repair which I started a thread on here titled Sansui Au555 noisy inputs). I have been using it to power my KLH model 5s and was very happy with the sound this unit managed to get out of them. Unfortunately it is not the quietest amplifier and sometimes a faint hiss can be heard if you are close to the speakers. This is particularly noticeable on the phono 2 and phono 1 inputs, I ended up using an external phono-stage (IFI zen phono) and was impressed by the performance the sansui and IFI offered. The power cord which I have not changed since obtaining the amplifier has always slightly bugged me, if you look at the pictures you can probably see why. Unfortunately I will not offer demo in my home, however I may be able to demo at my work in Fitzroy. I regrettably threw out the receipt for the recap so I don’t have a list of what work was done unfortunately.
