Hey all, Figured I'd post up my gear since I have been through just about every other 'Showcase' post here - I love looking at other people's systems! I rent in a share-house so I keep my 2 channel system in my (largish) bedroom unless we're having a party then she gets moved into the social room Sources: Creek Destiny CDP Pioneer DV-667A PC into Yulong D100 DAC (arrived today, sourced from SNA classifieds section and being tested with some Tommy Emmanuel FLAC as I type! ) Speakers are 4x JV60 (with Paul Spencer crossovers) and a custom built R1000 active sub (Peerless XLS12 + PR) - designed for home theatre use but surprisingly good, musically Speakers are powered by the Creek Evo 5350 integrated amp and second pair powered by the Creek Destiny PA (I only really fire up all 4 if we're having a party ~800wrms is a little bit too much in a room this size! You'll notice the little Creek OBH-14 (DAC/pre) up on top too. I bought that cheaply to use as a DAC for the Pioneer (before picking up the Destiny CDP I was using the Pioneer as a CD transport) but now am using it to either control level to the power amp (to blend the 2nd set of speakers if needed) or as a pre for the sub amp. I'm new to 2 channel so I also fiddle with it and sometimes use it as a pre-amp in front of the Destiny PA as it sounds pretty darn good as a pre-amp! Item: Creek Destiny CD Player (made in UK model) Location: Hobart, TAS Price: $950ono $750ono Item Condition: Factory refurbished with some marks (shown) but working perfectly Reason for selling: Change of lifestyle, simplifying things (downgrading) Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal Extra Info: I bought this from Epoz Australia as a factory refurbished product. It cost me $1250. It came with full warranty and has never let me down, except for the marks on it that were not mentioned when I purchased it. There are a few scuffs/scratches on the CD player but the device works perfectly. The worst (IMO) is just above the CD tray, as shown. Comes with Creek remote. It sounds incredible. Predecessor of a more popular 5350, but the 4330 was also well regarded at its time. The amp was made circa 2001. I'm the second owner and I enjoyed it for the last 10 years. The Creek had very easy life, never driven hard and comes from pet, smoke and child free home. The amp had a couple of upgrades over the years. The standard pot was replaced with the blue Alps. The tape monitor switch was replaced with a good quality Alps switch, and also the binding posts were replaced. I had this little amp driving my Castle speakers for most of its life. That was my second system for the last few years, and since I have already sold the other pieces due to lack of space, I need to say goodbye to it too. Reluctant sale as I'm a Creek's fan. I have a couple other Creek devices, and was hopping to keep 4330, but just recently upgraded to Creek Destiny. So the older brother needs to leave home. Hey all, Up FS is my Creek Destiny Power Amp. I love it but am thinking about buying a house soon and am down-sizing my 2 channel system. It's pictured here alongside my other gear but nothing else is FS, only the Destiny PA. I'm asking $900 and am open to reasonable offers. Condition is pretty bloody good. There are a few tiny little marks on the top edge of the front of the case. You have to look very closely to see them though. If you are a serious buyer and want more (close) pics, I'm happy to arrange it. I'm also happy for anyone in Tassie to come and look/listen (I live in Taroona). Cheers, Jeremy.
