    Great to see this about, My normal power amp has malfunctioned and is in for repairs. Brought out my old 8000A and am reminded how good and rhythmic this still sounds. GLWTS.

    I'm using an Aries G1 with a powered HDD attached. In order to run the iOS app to have file management on a remote device, I have attached a cheap wi-fi router to the Aries which talks to the iPad. This is not connected to the NBN or the rest of home network. Minimal network setup required.

    Good buy. They make good sounding DAC units.

    No room correction but it does have 4 digital filter options as well as a usefully detailed band equaliser function.
