I purchased these brand new in 2022. They are one of Grado's limited edition headphone series with the exotic Cocobolo wood. RRP at the time from memory was between $900 - $1000 AUD. These are amazingly transparent, but I never had any listening fatigue. Remarkably smooth with an organic kind of warmth tonally. I havent used them much, I'm just not really a headphone listener and these are surplus to requirements. Original packaging included. Original Grado pads only used for a couple hours and I swapped them out for some after market Grado pads made by Beautiful Audio (which I am happy to include at no extra cost). There is some signs of wear on these, but they are very comfortable and did alter the sound towards being a little softer, whereas the Grado pads are more clear, open with a bigger soundstage. I purchased this new a couple years ago when I was building a second system, but had a change in circumstance shortly after that and its been kept safely in its original packaging and needs a new home. Only about 10 hours on it, as new condition with original packaging and can be shipped at buyers expense. Purchased new from Grizzly Works 3 years ago. Has been well cared for and still in excellent condition cosmetically and in perfect working order. Comes with all original packaging and can be double boxed up for shipping interstate. Shipping costs at buyers expense. A really great Class A Tube Pre-amp that is very transparent just adds just a little of tubey goodness (tonal saturation, more 3 dimensional soundstage etc) whilst allowing all the speed and dynamics from the source material to flow through to the power amp. I am selling this as I no longer need the extra source inputs am using an all in one streaming DAC/Pre amp to reduce box count. Comes with the stock electro harmonix tubes, and I am including a pair of JJ tubes as a bonus so you can tube roll right from the go. KEF LS50 Wireless (mark 1), the very cool limited edition 'Nocturne'. These babies always remind me, and everyone who sees them, of the Death Star, and they light up green when UV light hits them. A great sounding all in one system. Wireless streaming (I accessed both Tidal and my local NAS library with ease), RCA inputs for external analog sources like a Turntable, and/or use with a TV for gaming/movies via optical cable. They have sounded great in all uses in many rooms, with the detailed but non fatiguing smooth KEF sound. I particuraly like the KEF control app which allows you to customise the sound/EQ so you can tweak the sound based on desktop/stands and how much bass/treble you prefer and low pass frequency cut off if pairing with a sub. Ive had these since new for 8 years and they still work perfectly and sound great. I just have too much gear and these need a new home. Comes with original box and packaging, two power cables and ethernet cable.

  1. Further Information: RRP $10,500. Repost and price drop. I purchased these new in late October 2022 from Hey Now Hi Fi. They haven't been used much, probably about 80 hours on them. I've had a bit of personal upheaval in my life and I just haven't had much time for listening. I have decided to put these up for sale. I am only selling these due to some life circumstances and I need some cash. However I am not giving them away and low ball offers will be ignored. To declare my personal biases, I have gotten to know Brad over the the last few years as these are the third pair of his loudspeakers he has designed that I have owned, so its fair to say I like what he produces. They are a beautifully crafted and sound amazing. Like any hi end piece of gear the better the components they are paired with, the more they will amaze you. I have however also played these on a budget system and they still sound bloody good. Comapred with the 'standard' Mu2 Mk II, these have a cabinet constructed of 6mm thick Tasmanian Blackwood timber over 18mm birch ply. Internally the crossover has the same values but with a higher spec components. Over conversations I have had with Brad, about the Timber SE MkII he has consistently said “you get everything that the Mu2 MK II’s deliver but with a slightly richer sound, still maintaining the really low noise floor and in that gorgeous Tassie Blackwood”. Recent reviews of the standard Mu2 MkII; Stereonet https://www.stereonet.com/au/reviews/serhan-swift-mu2-mkii-bookshelf-loudspeakers-review The Ear https://the-ear.net/review-hardware/serhan-swift-mu2-mkii/ Australian Hi FI / What Hi Fi https://www.whathifi.com/reviews/serhan-swift-m2-mk-ii Note the very recenty published review in Australian Hi Fi has measurements - which are not included in the online What Hi Fi link. If you can't get acess to the magazine for those measurements, let me know via PM. I have the packaging and box they were shipped to me in. I will double box it for extra protection during transit if shipping required.

  4. Hi Phil Yes I have all original packaging. I’m sure I can find the receipt if needed. Dave
  5. Further Information: Purchased 3 months ago - absolutely brilliant speakers. Sound good with everything, easy to listen to, and with great bass heft. Only considering selling these as I have gotten hooked on DIY audio and I want to fund a new DIY project. All original packaging and boxing. 4 large heavy boxes, shipping will be at buyers expense. I'd prefer local pickup, but happy to accomodate shipping if required. Official specs and links to reviews here; https://www.wharfedale.co.uk/linton-heritage/
