These are the first Luxman solid state amplifiers.
The sound is very much the same as Luxman tube amplifiers, but with the reliability of solid state.
Both amplifiers have been checked by a qualified tech and everything is functional and they sound terrific!

CL350- The first control amplifier using transistors. Rosewood finish in perfect condition.

The equalizer circuit is based on a 3-stage direct-coupled circuit that combines PNP and NPN types, and the third stage adopts a push-pull operation method that combines PNP and NPN type transistors in a pair to increase the power supply utilization factor and ensure good linearity.

Low-level circuits, such as Phono and Mic, generally consist of a single equalizer amplifier, which selects the input terminal by switching three points : the input circuit, the output circuit and the equalization constant.
In CL350, each input terminal has its own amplifier and the input terminal is selected only on the output circuit side. This simplifies the wiring of the input circuit side and reduces the adverse effect of shield wires and shock noise at switching.

The tone control is an NF type LUX tone control, and the bending point frequency is a 3-step switching type for fine tone adjustment.
This circuit has a defeat switch and can be skipped if it is not used.

The high-cut and low-cut filters have two cut-off frequencies, so that noise can be attenuated while minimizing the effect on the program source.

The noise level is kept low by mainly composed of PNP type ultra-low noise silicon transistors which are easy to obtain a noise figure in general.

It has a built-in low frequency trimmer that adjusts the frequency band centered from 150 Hz to 300 Hz in seconds.
This circuit is located behind the equalizer circuit to reduce the effect on the recorded output.

A headphone amplifier with level control is built-in.
The circuit consists of a pure complimentary service circuit directly connected to all stages, with an output capacitor.

Equipped with an attenuator.

Phono1 terminal is equipped with impedance switching, and Phono2 is equipped with a socket for MC-type step-up transformer.
The Aux1 and 3 jacks are equipped with level sets.

1982 Sony WM-D6 Professional Recording Walkman (First Edition)
Description:
Offered for sale is an exceptionally rare, first-edition 1982 Sony WM-D6 Professional (Serial #15404). This is the legendary "Green Script" version from the very first production era, highly sought after by collectors for its hand-built internal circuitry and purely analog signal path.
Provenance & Usage:
This unit has a unique "time capsule" history. I originally purchased it to complement my Nakamichi Dragon, with the intent to record high-fidelity tapes on the Dragon for travel. However, those plans never eventuated. As a result, this Walkman has seen incredibly light use—only approximately 20 cassettes have ever been played through it.
Audio Performance & Features:
• Professional Grade Head: This unit features the original Sendust and Ferrite (S&F) head—the same professional-grade head found in Sony’s full-sized field recorders of the era. It remains in immaculate condition due to the extremely low runtime.

I discovered one very small mark in the paint finish on the rear of one cabinet when photographing the speakers for this ad. I am the only person to have handled them after picking them up from Mike, they have never been bumped or knocked.
 
Lenehan stand mount speakers truly deliver the mystical ‘disappearing act’ when set up well. They respond particularly well with sufficient quality power, which does not necessarily mean huge wattage but they do like a bit of grunt. I ran these with both a 20watt p/side Class A integrated and later a pair of 60watt Class A mono blocks, they were terrific with both.
 
They deliver tight controlled bass that stand mounts of this size really have no right to. They are quite neutral (uncoloured), very musical speakers and if I were to pick one thing that I feel they really excel at it is natural life like vocals with great imaging and a large soundstage.

While shipping is theoretically possible I have listed as “Shipping Not Available” because the speakers and stands are all very heavy (65kgs per side) and I did not ask Mike for packaging when I collected them from the factory. I am on the northside of Brisbane and will deliver anywhere between Ballina, Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba.
 
Audition is also possible, encouraged if you’ve not heard ML2’s, for bonafide buyers.

“Construction is hand built and meticulous in every sense of the word. The composite enclosure panels are first hand built piece by piece starting with the 36mm HDF 4mm steel plate composite baffle. After all composite panels are individually constructed the enclosure is assembled using probably the worlds strongest epoxy adhesive.

Steel rod, 25mm hardwood dowel and Birch Ply differential bracing are incorporated to produce an enclosure with phenomenally low energy storage.

For sale is a pair of quite rare, custom-made WAR Audio speakers by Pat O'Brien. These were originally made in WA, brought to Adelaide by an SNA member and ended up at my place. They are in excellent functional condition and are quite easily the most detailed and revealing speakers I have ever owned. They are classified by the manufacturer as a reference monitor, even though they are a floorstander.

There is little info on these as they seem to be a custom design, made to a high standard using very high quality parts, including Raven metal tweeters and French PHL drivers for the mids and woofers. Cabinet construction is rock hard. The cost of the parts alone is in the vicinity of $7,000, not including labour etc. I have subsequently listed the RRP as an estimate at about $10,000.

Efficiency 90db/W/m. Frequency range extends to 40kHz and Pat O’Brien designer/builder says flat down to 40Hz. These are very revealing and musical speakers and quite easy to drive and front ported so can place near a rear wall.

Physical dimensions are 114cm tall, 30cm wide and 25cm deep. I estimate weight to be around 40 - 50 kgs. These have their own built-in plinth. 

Sound is very clean, highly detailed and nuanced, with superb instrument separation. Tonal character and timbre with voicing is accurate and precise but not lean. Judicious matching with source and amp yields great results, especially with Class A electronics.

Interstate purchasers please note that I don't have any boxes / pallets for these so a long journey would need to be well-planned. I'm happy to help with any local transfers.

These are quite possibly the only ones of this type made, as the WAR website only listed one pair of standmounts (the Diane) and another pair of floorstanders with a larger bass driver.

This is a pair of factory terminated Mogami 3082 coaxial speaker cables, 2.0m in length. Banana plugs at both ends.

IMO these are as good as anything produced by the boutique market crowd under $750.00, and compared very well with some Scandinavian cables I tested costing over $2,000. Cables are in excellent condition.

I brought these amazing Nordost frey 2 interconnects from audio connection in November last year , I have enjoyed them so much I upgrading to the Valhalla .
They are a 1 mtr pair . I have the original box and warranty card and purchase receipt from Audio Connection .

I brought this Vpi turntable in February 2025 from Krispy Audio , Cameron had just fully serviced it and it works perfectly . I am happy to demonstrate the turntable to any interested people . The book is in "VG+ condition". There is evidence some pages had stuck together around the edges from being sealed in the box set for 14 years - all pages are readable without any major damage to paper, text or images.

Selling a pair of Interdyn BT2 floorstander speakers. Interdyn was the house brand of Encel Hifi with the speakers being made by what is now Aranmar Acoustics in Melbourne. The Interdyn range were designed and built by Aranmar and used Seas drivers and quality crossover components. The BT2 was the pick of the Interdyn range with two six inch mid bass drivers and an aluminium dome tweeter running as a two way.
They are around 1100 high, 450 deep and 210 wide weighing in at around 30kg’s.

I bought these from the original owner’s family about three months ago. The owner was using them with some quality electronics which unfortunately had been sold as had his substantial vinyl collection. The owner had passed away.

Mine are a real jarrah wood veneer and as can be seen in the photos there is some fading on one side of the cabinets. Unfortunately Jarrah seems to be susceptible to fading. Otherwise these are in very good condition and with some effort could be re-finished and look like new. The grills are in excellent condition.
I’m using these as a HT rears but realised that whilst they make an excellent surround speaker they are too big for what I need.

I can’t really use them as mains as I don’t own a two channel amp. I can demo them to show that all the drivers are operating but a full sound demo isn’t really possible with the gear I have on hand. And to be honest for the money they are worth grabbing if you want a quality pair of larger speakers.

About 15 years ago I owned another pair and ran them with a few different power amps. They really punched above their weight and scaled up nicely with better quality amps.

I would really prefer these went to someone who will use them and not just as a quick profit.

This is an excellent solid state Class A fully balanced preamplifier that I purchased direct from Aoshida Audio back in late '24. As far I could find out Musician Audio seem to be a sister / parallel brand to Denafrips and there are striking resemblances to the Hades. Apart from the excellent specs the deciding factor in my purchase was the review by Sandhu on Soundnews youtube channel (see link), and particularly his comments that it sounds more like a tube preamplifier with a great bottom end. He wasn't making it up ! It has a 60 step resistor ladder volume control mechanism and remote.

It is also worth noting that these units operate at unity gain which is rarely an issue given the high output levels from most dacs these days. The only reason for the sale is that I've moved onto something different as you tend to do in this hobby.
